Now i've only been flourishing for about 7 months and i find it much easier to flourish with old cards, but whenever i see youtube videos they seem to use new cards and my face is always , so do you guys use new cards or old ones to flourish?

Sorry if this threads already been done.

Yes, this thread is posted 7-10 times a week.

When you get a new deck, you play with it until you break it in, which makes it easier to work with. That's why your old decks feel better.

I don't flourish but I like to use new decks for magic. Unless tearing or signing is involved. =)

Yeah, I only use decks that are older generally for flourishes like the werm. But for certain flourishes, a newer deck is sometimes welcome. My breaking in of new decks sometimes involves spreading on a carpet and maybe applying lotion to my hands before use. The lotion makes the cards stick together very nicely and it makes them prime canditates for aerial training. Hope that assists.

It's all about old cards, but not to old...

You know when they're at the stage where they feel really nice, and worn in, in your hands?

I'm not sure what you mean by old cards. Do you mean as in worn? Or like aged like Jerrys Nuggets? I personally like new Cards for magic. I don't really flourish, but for the few cuts I do, I like broken in cards.
