This is something I have been working on for a bit, and this is a teaser for a upcoming effect named "DesperatE StrugglE". I'am very proud of the outcome and soon you will all see what it is. And as you can tell I obtained the title of this upcoming effect from the new sequel to No more heroes, "No more heroes: Desperate Struggle" I hope you all enjoy this, and will look forward to this really hard effect in working process.

So what about just giving some details about the effect? Because we dont know if the trick is with diapers, cards, coins, shoes, etc, etc.. And what about with the tags? criss angel revealed :S

Here's the thing. Teasers are meant to get you excited about something from an artist they know about, and also to torment you because you wanna see more images and vids of them.
But as a new creator, we don't know what your about.

Seriously, a teaser like what you put up, I could care less because I have no idea what it's about, there were no spectator reactions or them trying to explain what happened or anything. All was there was this Daniel Madison look-a-like walking up a hill with cards on the ground. Cool video, horrible teaser.

This is constructive criticism, I'm not trying to make fun of you, because for all I know, yeahh, this could be a decent effect, or it could be garbage.
Most likely - ?

EDIT: Try actually showing some more of the effect. Anybody can make a 30 second video "teaser" on something. If you were someone well known then maybe this would had hyped people up. However, we don't really know you so seeing a small video like that didn't really do much.

Thanks, and about tags..I have to send out my video someway. Alot of people like my stuff, and they wanted to know what is going on in my life, any new effects things like that. So after email after email, I just made a teaser. And for those who dont like, thanks for watching.

Did you actually read their posts? ... DannyT said it was a cool video, just not really a teaser.

I liked the video too, I thought the opening shot was really effective. BUT because it didn't really show anything to do with the effect (unless it's your version of 52 card pickup?) then... it's not so much a teaser as more of a video announcement, y'know?

BE ORIGINAL. Your a COMPLETE COPY of Daniel Madison, and you know it! Its annoying as hell. You don't have 1 single thing on your page thats original. You use the same bloody music as the dude for crying out loud! What are you trying to accomplish? Your not entertaining a soul, and your tarnishing you reputation. Your singature is bull. Everything isn't a copy. I don't care if madison said that.

For those who gave me advice I met no rudeness or ignorance at all, I aplogize and thank you for your advice. And I can say that Daniel Madison has personally emailed me and said "I'm glad you stood by your actions and didn't give in to them, you do what do because it is you, or at least the you that you see in your mind, and thats the best kind of you." Those are exact words from a email that Daniel Madison emailed me. So again I didnt mean to ignore the advice and thanks alot guys, its just I dont want to hear the same comments over and over again by the same people.
And please calm this down, as one said that its getting heated up pretty fast.

I respect DM a lot for what he has done. I may disagree with some of his views on magic as a whole, but I do respect him and I love his work. However, in this particular instance, I have to disagree with DM. I did feel your video was unoriginal. Let's say hypothetically your personality was the exact same personality as DM. Well, your videos even used the same music as DM thus showing you were copying him. Again, I seriously doubt you are 100% like DM. However, even if you were, you should try to use different music. Using the same music as him only sparks arguments such as the argument going on in this thread right now. I'm always for being yourself. You shouldn't EVER be anyone else but yourself. However, I do feel this video was a complete DM copy video. I hope you didn't take too much offense to that statement.

Let's try to calm down everyone. He thanked us for the feedback and apologized. Let's keep this thread friendly from here on out, ok? Thanks guys.

Nice teaser. Like the clip at 0:02-0:06 very artistic and awesome. How did u get that water under u, unless u climbed up a mountain or something lol. Also, a little thing, the font animation was a little too long and repetitive IMO (repetition was alright but it was too long for me) I would add a little drop shadow and bevel too. (not a big deal, but it bothered me a little but not too much). Anyway, nice teaser and can't wait to see what the effect is.

OH yeah Why is the "E's" capitalized in the last letter of the title DesperatE StrugglE??? Just wondering

Okay, we've had this argument before and i stood for the worst of it (you who were there in the first thread know)

Alright, so he bases himself on d+M. Who gives?
Nothing you say will change his mind. He's already capitalized on that. So why flame him for it, when you can appreciate the magic (which albeit has yet to show itself) and not the magicians appearance?

If we are to bash appearances im going to have to start calling anyone who sees Criss Angel as emo a racist. that's right - racist.

So from now on, lets just wait until me pal d+R releases a little more information on the effect. (which mysteriously has E and E...)

PS: Don, maybe you should have added some spectator reactions to the video, you know, like girls screaming or speechless or something - but only that, so as not to give the effect away
