cool, i always enjoy watching coin matrix effects. this one seemed really fishy. i don't know how to explain but i kept feeling like something was different.
.

Do you know what it was?

In the not to distant future
no it wasn't the trick, it's more of how you presented it. just the movement of the hands seemed weird? that's the best i can explain it right now. i'll try and think of better words. no it's not the method, I've been doing coin magic for over 5 years and have done a lot of coin matrix. the trick is good, the movement is suspicious. maybe someone else will confirm my suspicions. or maybe im just crazy.

I actually thought that was pretty good. Just try slowing things down in the first part for the effect to sink in and try to smooth out the motions of your hands. Other than that, it was great.

I think what tally-ho may be noticing that is VERY fishy happens around the 16 second mark. I'm not going to say any more because otherwise I think it looks great and don't want you to feel like I'm calling your performance out or anything.

Keep it up. :)

It was alright, it could be smoother but did u say it was your new effect? Because this is definitely not new.

I meant my newest close up video

1. Hello, Neo? - This is not a Matrix effect. This is Chink-a-Chink. Al Schneider's Matrix is a trick utilising a hands-off feel, because the coins are not touched by the hands- they are covered with cards throughout.

2. The backfire - you took too long from showing them and then resetting them. I forgot which coins were there- not actually, but "emotionally". It should be SUDDEN. And the square formation should be kept up better; at the end, they were rectangular.

3. What magic? - Your magical moments were not moments. Why are the coins moving? Not giving a magical moment time to be a moment is equal to telegraphing the method to the spectator; it's a giveaway. Maybe wiggle your fingers, say a magic word, do SOMETHING so that people know YOU'RE causing the magic, not the coins.

4. Bring it up - Get a close-up pad, and do this on the table. Michael Ammar can get away with squatting on the floor, but he's MICHAEL AMMAR. Unless this is performed specifically for youtube.com, you'll almost NEVER perform it like this.

Scott.
