Question about 1-on-1 video quality

Last night I downloaded the free video color change. I blew it up to maximum size and the video quality looked great.

Today I bought Chris Kenner Schwing. When it plays there is really bad pixelation. When you blow up the window it gets really bad. When he shakes the cards or moves the cards fast it turns into a pixelated blur. It's kinda hard on your eyes to even look at.

Right now I have both videos open in two different windows and I can scroll to different frames on pause. The color change video has some pixelation, but there seems to be a huge difference.

I noticed that it looks like Schwing is one of the oldest 1-on-1 videos. Has the quality of the videos just improved? Or is their some setting in quicktime I should adjust? I had to download quicktime when I watched color change, so it's not a program I'm familiar with.

The content of both videos was awesome.

Theory11 video qualities have always been top notch. I'm fairly sure it's some problem with your computer.

This happened to me, too, with both Schwing AND TnR. I bought a few newer ones, and the quality was awesome! Soooo . . . I don't know why, but the earlier tricks and 1on1's are worse quality.

noo man. I think it has something to do with your computer because I just checked, right now, my shwing and the free color change and the quality was the same.

So it has to be something to do with your computer.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. Usually, the 1-on-1's are like uber/HD/super high resolution.

When I watch videos from netflicks it streams in perfect HD quality.

I think it might just be quicktime that is giving you problems. I use VLC media player to play all of my videos. It plays just about any video and music file type. You can find it at www.download.com.

I downloaded VLC player, but the video looks exactly the same.

It could have something to do with the specific encoding of the older videos and your monitor. Thats really all I can think of.

That is possible. They change the compression algorithms for audio and video all the time. My monitor is new and I don't think it would be the monitor, it would be the graphics cards that would be handling the encoding differently.

For me t11 1on1s are only good in the default size 640x360. As soon as you maximize it, the quality is lost.

I just purchased the Biddle Trick video. The video quality in it is far superior to Schwing. I watched it in full screen and it was very good.

I recently learned the Biddle trick on Brad Christian's inside magic, but the 1-on-1 contained instructions for a different method for controlling the card called the false pass. I wanted to see thatand also see what tips were given. The instruction was superior to inside magic for one very specific reason. Jonathan Bayme draws attention to the way he holds the cards for the biddle move and gives it a name. Before I was practicing using multiple different grips trying to figure out what worked best. Bayme took the guess work out there.
