Oh yeah I think I was discussing it with RomeoSierra on one of your review threads. lol

Thanks. I've heard amazing things about it. It's a little over my budget right now but saving does miracles. hah
    C
Very awesome. Especially the thought of word thing. I should look into it.

I've been considering Michael Weber's Lifesavers. Have you heard of it? It seems like it has a ton of great impromptu stuff.....that's why it's called lifesavers lol
    C
Yeah it's the most direct way to accomplish it.
I've also heard of Paralies but I'm not familiar with it.
    C
Thanks. It's pretty fun to perform for a larger venue because there's no palming. When I first performed it, I used the stooge, so for everyone else it seemed absolutely INSANE.

Yeah it's so simple yet very deceptive. Love using that principle.

Here let me send you the CTSB method right now. You can respond through here since it's kind of easier.
    C
Haha. Alright. Well there was a point where I was trying to work out some different things with two different colored decks.
I came up with a 3 phased routine that's impromptu using the two different decks(red and blue) and a sharpie. Ink vanishes off the card. Transfers onto another. Then color changes with the ink remaining. Hard to explain without going into extreme detail.

I also have a card to sealed box that I'm not sure if I've shared with you before. I have a description in my PM's. I'll send it to you.

I also use this one routine where a card is selected, lost. 4 random cards pulled out. Shown, shaken, change into 4 aces. Deck is immediately spread to reveal the original 4 cards with the selection trapped in between.
    C
Yes I do. Would you like me to describe a few? :P
    C
Oh yeah! That's the one. Sounds pretty awesome.

Great. I love it. Simple and logical way to reveal the prediction. Love the title too.
    C
Alright, let me know when or if you get it to work. It'd be cool if I could get the idea to transfer through words all the way to San Diego. lol

Sweet. I've heard about the TOD (Gazzo maybe?). What's the effect. I can't remember. lol
    C
Great did it make sense? I chose that video because it was performed pretty bad. Haha I guess Youtube is good for something! But I'm just wondering if the bridge part made sense.

    Oh awesome man. Very cool.
    C
Well the end result and is the same that I've seen in another shuffle (Emerge Triumphant) but the method of getting there is much different.

It's actually pretty simple in technique. It just takes practice getting it accurate to every single card.

Weave/faro the cards like normal. Then instead of bending the cards at the ends for the bridge, grip 2 diagonal CORNERS of the cards. When you bend them down diagonally, the packets weave but end up out-stepped from each other. The left pointer swivels out the out-stepped (original bottom) cards and they are stripped out and rotate into your left open hand. Remaining cards dropped on top.
God, that probably made NO sense. But play around with how you grip the cards before you bridge. You should be able to figure it out.
The swivel/strip out move is at around :10 in this video.

    Cool. Sounds good.
I kind of stumbled upon this idea for a false shuffle. It allows for a genuine weave and bridge. I posted my description on BAWI's page but he hasn't been online to respond to it. I'll post it on your's if you're interested.

    What's up? How's that t&r coming along?
Most of the stuff in my ebook is ideal for a routine because they are quick and flashy. Might I recommend Flipside or Minority?
    C
Yeah I got the idea from watching a routine by Kam Magic on youtube. It's a great little utility.
    C
Haha that's funny. I thought of that same exact idea. With the double and the rolling of the pack and everything lol. It's a very good way to achieve that effect and it's what I've been using for awhile.
    Great minds think alike.
For TOD, Maven's got a great one called Tossed out Tech on his video mind series, also Docc Hilford's Cassandra deck book/dvd has a good TOD using a seemingly shuffled deck.

There are video's of Cinders around - I don't have an official one. You might find one in a google search, but I don't link direct as none of the ones I've done are up to scratch quality wise.

    Best,

    D.
Not bad, it's fairly simple but pretty cool. The concept isn't original, just the way you handle it. Try to slow it down, and maybe add another phase or two. Don't think this could stand on its own, but would work well as one part of a longer routine.
Sorry, I don't have a performance of Dee's effect, but I can tell you it looks fantastic in his hands. It's been a while since he showed it to me, so you may want to ask him directly. I'd recommend his work without hesitation, he is a creative genius.

I'd be happy to take a look at your effect!
    C
haha well it all just started as a joke anyway. It's pretty funny how it's caused such a big deal around here. No worries. lol
