Any non smokers out there that do cigarette magic?

That's a d*** move, no doubt. Cigarette magic can be really neat. I'm not a frequent smoker by any means, and I'm planning to learn some unlit cig stuff. . . as well as Derren Brown's Smoke. Brilliant trick. David Stone also has some cool cig stuff.

How many of you guys juggle?

I contact juggle as well. It's really fun.

    Reversing the bottom card

I just turn over the bottom card while speaking to the spectator. Make sure your eyes are on their face, not the deck. Your eyes direct their eyes, so if you look down, they will too. If you can establish eye contact while speaking, you can pretty much lock them into looking at you until you...

What is the worst thing you have done to a heckler?

    Sounds like the Amazing Jonathan.

    Sleeping Queens

Do you mean gimmicks or gaffs? Because. . . Gaffs don't do all the work for you. They make it possible to perform feats that, quite frankly, cannot be done with normal cards. They have their time and place.

    Smoke & Mirrors : A Cordial Invitation :: Friday, Aug. 1

I was incredibly psyched for these cards, but they were a serious letdown. The backs are stylish, barring the D. And, as far as "high class" and "sophistication" goes, that image is completely shattered by the ugly court cards. They're absolutely hideous. I can't see myself wanting to perform...

    Instant Hypnotist

That reminds me of an old and terrible joke. That said, it sounds like a neat little routine. I love the idea of hypnotism.

    Surfaced - First Impressions

I think I can answer that one. The bend/crimp is used to ensure that only one card comes free when you are performing the clipshift. I would assume that it either gets easier to hide, or becomes less necessary as the performer practices.

    Air Control

It's fairly simple. He just does it very quickly, and with neat cover. You can actually see it for a moment in the video you linked, without pausing or anything. If that's exposure, or something, I apologize. D:

    Surfaced - First Impressions

Oh man. I'm in Alaska, so I guess I'll be waiting another few days yet. 'course, I paid with paypal, so it may take even longer. . . Is the 26 Shift really a clipshift with half of the deck? Or is it something completely different?

    Loops or Dangerous?

Tough choice. Loops take practice, and if you don't learn to save 'em, they'll cost you a lot. When you're just starting out, you'll get a little depressed with how easily they break, because you'll expect them to be more sturdy than they are. But if you stick with it, watch the Guerrilla...

What's the Greatest Gimmicked Trick Ever?

The problem with the Invisible Deck is that it is incredibly popular, so there is a chance your spectator will know what is going on. Maybe d+M's Irreversible?

    Ditching a card

Put the tape on the back of another card, if the double backer is examined.

    A Word To The Wise

What do you have against juggling? Contact juggling (sphere play?), diabolo, devil sticks. . . they're all a form of juggling too, and they take a considerable amount of skill and practice to be any good at. To me, a good contact juggler is a lot more impressive than a good flourisher, and...

    Favorite ACR ending?

A version of Card to Mouth, usually either the Buck's version of Hand to Mouth, or David Stone's French Kiss.

    The Cardini Snap Change

Pretty good. I made my own video of the same change a few days ago. . . my cleanup is terrible though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_mod1_qe5bE If you want to watch it/tell me what you think.

    Money Issue

Charge her more. Explain to her that what you do takes time, effort, and practice, and is worth more than fifteen dollars, especially when you have spent a considerable amount of money in preparing a show for her child.

    Is Witness worth it?

I love Witness. Probably one of my top three or four tricks. Simple, clean, and amazing.

    Electric Touch Review

No, it wouldn't. You could just have the ET turned off. Or. . . not active. You don't have a constant current running through your body. Of course, this makes using it with Control a bit more difficult. Suffice to say that unless you built your own set-up with a different activation (like...
