    Effect Creating Amnesia

Hi guys! Effects, where you create amnesia to spectator always fascinated me. There's number of them in the market. I decided to go for James Brown's Cerebral Steal. Pretty much what it is, is you show them the card and then make them forget it. Have a look at my attempts, and tell me...

Thanks RDChopper! Thank you for your comment and sharing your thoughts on the effect, that's great and always very helpful what fellow magicians think and how they perceive it from their perspective. There's quiet a lot going on there, when it comes to the method, some of the things I was...

Which hand is the object in?

I've watched the preview, and it looks great. Effect is always the same but I like the presentation of Patrick Redford. I guess presentation will differ depending on venue. The same presentation wouldn't work that well on the street, I guess?

Which hand is the object in?

Here is one effect that fascinates me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zzkevNyWIck I think it's called 'which hand is the object in'. It's like a guessing game, but when you can be spot on every time (or most of the time), it looks very impressive to people. I know of a few versions...

    Derren Brown's interesting experiments...

I really enjoyed all of his recent shows (as well as whole other work of Derren). It's nice to see whole show focused on one topic. Derren's showmanship is amazing as well.

    Airbrush Revisited

I also work on this change. Yours looking really good. Do you think that flourish coming after the change is necessary though? I know it helps as a misdirection to what's happening, but as far as I remember, DG, didn't do any flourish. I guess with enough practice, it's possible to eliminate...

    Color Changes

I'd also recommend classic color change, it's a first change I've learned and I still use it, simply because it's really good, and can be performed completely surrounded. There's nice free tutorial here at t11, have a look.

    TT bill switch

I've learned that from David Stone's dvds, but if you're only interested in this particular trick, there are probably better resources. It's a great thing to learn, the only thing I actually do with TT, but do it quiet a lot :)

Can I make a color change its own trick????

Can I make a color change its own trick????

Try learning tricks like Triumph, Card Warp, some sandwich effects, Cards across - they are all nice classic tricks with completely different plots than color changes. :)

Oil and Water on the streets of Manchester

Hi! Recently I was invited to Manchester. It's a nice city :) As we had camcorder with us, we recorded a bit of magic with people on the street. Oil and water, and some color changes. Spectators happened to be foreign, but I think they've enjoyed it. Have a look anyway, and let me know...

    Dealing with a Heckler!!!

nice trick :) I think the best way to handle the heckler is to prevent them becoming one. If you make nice connection with the audience, no one will try to hackle you, they will just enjoy it. But it's not easy. It takes more then just performing a trick, it's really doing all you can so that...
