    Best Impromptu Card Tricks

David Blaine does use gimmicks :) But I know what you mean, I find that combining two - gimmick + impromptu stuff work best for me (you can start with impromptu stuff, give deck for examination, then, when you get your credibility, you bring gimmicks). Having said that, Stigmata by Wayne...

    Hypnosis

Try Proffesional Opportunist by James Brown (just look on youtube, what this guy does!). But if you want to get into hipnosis, you will need to find some mentor to guide you. I wouldn't try to learn this on my own.

Advice for a Fairly New Magician

I like elegant approach to magic as well. If you're really interested in this style, check out Eric Jones' material. All he does is very elegant, and there is big variety of different things. There are some single releases on t11, but if you want to dig in more, look at Extension Of Me dvds. I'm...

    Card Force Without Cards

Wayne Houchin teaches similar thing on Stigmata DVD, and it's way to force 7 (which should work in any language, I think).

Hi, I think it's a great trick, here are answers to your questions: 1. Yes 2. Yes, you can. 3. Absoulutly :) 4. It is. You need to be a little bit careful, but you can actualy perform it completly surrounded. 5. Relatively easy. I think it's worth buying. Have fun!

This is Why I Don't Post Much

Very good article, I agree with it. Thank you Chris. For some reason being anonymous makes poeple behave really badly, quiet often. And they forget that in reality, they are never anonymous, as well as there are real human being on the other site.

    Filming Street Magic

Great topic R.K.! I think the best option is basicly to have more then one video camera. Then one camera is filming you/your hans, other is filmig your spectators. If you can use three cameras its even better. Then, everything else is editing, make it a whole, and show you performing at right...

    Ultragaff vs gaff?

Hi! I have ultragaff, and I also think it's very good. If you want to see what can you do with gaffs like one with the battery or others, you mentioned, just look up ultragaff trick on youTube. I think they give you previews of all of them, so you can see some of the routines, they can be very...

    Borrowed Bill Change Denomination.

I perform the standard TT version, as mentioned above, you can learn it from Real Secrets of Magic by David Stone. Daniel Garcia has one were you don't need to use gimmick at all! I never used it, but people say it's good. Probobly the best thing is just to experiment.

Tricks & gaff deck, please HELP!

If you want to learn some pure slight-of-hand card magic with no trick decks etc., I think the best thing you can do is just start searching through theory11 products. You can browse by cathegory, difficulty level, so just jump to card section, search through tricks marked as 'easy', watch the...

    Stigmata

This trick is awesome (as all of Wayne's tricks in my opinion). And as others have said, it really is a STRONG trick. I use it either as an opener or as a closer. Definitly worth buying :)

    Three Fly With Coins (demo)

Nice idea, when polished, can be quiet nice effect. One more thing you might want to add is to keep hands much more separated on the moment of 'fly' - so that it looks even more impossible in the eyes of spectators.

    Your go-to control?

I use classic pass with misdirection help now, but I'm willing to learn side steal. Side steal is great, bacause it's pretty much invisible.

    Coloured (colour changing deck routine)

I also think this half changed card is a nice visual moment. I actually do similar effect (except, don't change whole deck in the end). It's nice to let them touch the card before you change it complitly. You can actually pick it up, scratch it a little bit, let them touch it. Just make sure you...

    Undecided...

I also think it's great as a practice, and it's a great fun in general. Probobly good point to try some new effects as well. But I think there are not to many magicians that make living of this. I think it can be a good addition, but in the end it's probobly better to progress toward something...
