    One-handed triple-packet flourishes

I agree completely––crudeness has no place in art, save for perhaps the critique of it. I didn't know you were a newer cardist. What one handed cuts do you know already? I'd be happy to offer more specific recommendations based on your skill level. Also, thanks for linking Teachwrap. I had no...

    One-handed triple-packet flourishes

NB3 actually doesn't have a flourish that meets those requirements. It uses a lot of one-handed cuts, including a great one-handed cut with two packets, but none have three packets.

    One-handed triple-packet flourishes

Never noticed that about the name before. Maybe I'm still innocent... D&D's Kryptonite is a classic. Jonas Haglund just posted a tutorial for an instant triangle display: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NEvMmie3ZhM. Looks knacky and fun! This OHR triangle is a favorite of mine...

The Best You Won On Contest Wheel

This year's contest is conspicuous, to say the least. A bit dystopian, even. I wonder why the top prizes were given out all of a sudden... I don't believe it's a conspiracy theory or anything, but it's mysterious. Such is the goings-on of a magic site.

    Learning classic cuts indirectly.

Like I said, I would invest more in material if I wasn't so low on money. Being in college is rough. Though it's interesting you say that––from what I can remember, the Papercuts moves seemed awkward and unnatural. I'll have to take a second look. I do have the Aviv app and love it. Great idea...

    Can't redeem elite points.

I had this same problem last night. Using Chrome as well.

Double Duke Riffle Stack in one Shuffle - JFX

You might as well be Erdnase. I particularly enjoyed the newsprint graphic in the middle. As someone who loves typography, I liked its usage.

    Learning classic cuts indirectly.

I've looked at Vortex, but that's pretty advanced stuff right there. I am mainly looking for free tutorials, since I'd shell out for the System or Trilogy if I could. I found some good stuff from the Cuso, but most of it does assume you know the moves as well. Bummer.

    Learning classic cuts indirectly.

So I'm in the awkward position of not knowing a lot of "classic" cuts, such as Dan's and Dave's material. I don't want to illegally download the System or Trilogy, and I dislike learning from YouTube channels that poorly teach these cuts. I've found that some moves repurpose ideas from these...

    Concern about the Holiday Contest

Just wanted to make a post about Theory11's response to my comment. Mark emailed me within a matter of minutes and got the problem fixed immediately. Moreover, he gave me three extra spins. T11 is a role model of a company if I've ever seen one. Everyone from Jonathan to Mark and in between runs...

    Concern about the Holiday Contest

Not sure about anyone else, but it's glitching for me currently. It's displaying a little stub and "1 1 1 spins" left.

    Best cards for cardistry

Summer Virts are a great deck. Tally Ho circle backs are also fantastic. They're my personal favorites.

    Spinning Prisms

Try contacting Andrew on Facebook. He's generally pretty open to jamming and helping people. The tips I've heard/worked with are these: 1) Use an old deck. An old, old deck. The sides should be brown. This causes the cards to stick together more so than a new deck, which is helpful. If you have...
