Sorry, buddy. The trick has to be made specifically for tonight, and this video was uploaded to youtube mid august.
Also, judging from the comments, it looks like you've used this video before, as a submission for a whole other magic contest entirely.
Actually, every video is made by the submitters. t11 doesn't film anything extra or change the videos at all.
PS. HeCtic, I heard somewhere that t11 uses Final Cut. Hope that helps :)
In my opinion, Kaos is the perfect effect, and I would have paid twice the amount I did. It's hard to find a trick that gets better reactions, especially for how easy the trick is to perform.
Yeah, mentalism isn't the thing to do if you like effects that are 100% guaranteed to work.
However, a good method would be to use a sentence using a lot of alliteration with that letter before asking them to think of one. If that makes any sense.
One time I performed an effect using the mnemonica stack, and afterward I was asked to perform it again. Obviously, I couldn't, but I said "Yeah, ok." and I went on to perform a coin bending routine. No one questioned it.
Short answer: you don't.
You just simply have to ask around, or search through various resources.
However, unless you're planning on releasing your stuff, in kind of an honour to find that you've created the same thing as a professional. It's a good feeling.
Can you edit? If so, I can just send you some footage.
I'd like to be in a team of 4 people, so if anyone else wants in, just let us know in this thread.
