Awesome video - just posted in the media section. Keep it up!

    Financial Stability

Guys, giving constructive criticism is welcomed, and asked for by coinartist, but the the ratio of criticizing to being helpful was pretty overwhelming. It's easy to point out the flaws, and that can help, but follow it up with something that could help him out, or make it better. Never forget...

    Going to London

Derren Brown is a MUST if you're going to London. Also, Luke Jermay has his new show directed by Michael Weber during the time you'll be there as well. Link below: http://www.seetickets.com/event/luke-jermay-sixth-sense/leicester-square-theatre/708063

    Best DVD with Gimmick

Ooooh, I've never tried Fontaine with the Whole Thing method, I'll have to test that out, thanks! I would also highly recommend the Whole Thing, super solid, visual and practical effect. Also, for gimmicks which come with the DVD, Color Blind by Luke Jermay here at T11 is an AWESOME, and often...

    practicing on airplanes

Austin has some very good points - visual magic, and especially stuff in the hands such as a simple two card transpo is perfect for breaking the language barrier. Anyone else have any go-to effects for foreign spectators?

95% of everything I do is intentionally ironic. *coughcough*cop-out*cough*

    Trailer Help?

Psh, you got the editing in the bag, and I think you already know that. It looks great! If it is to be on The Wire, I would agree with the guys here - adding a few snippets of the explanation will definitely encourage people to want to download it. Also, although most flourishers choose not...

    Magical change-1

Jason England's download is great, and a very natural looking double. I would also work on your card control at the start - a simple double undercut would most likely be more effective. But the actual change looked great - keep it up! Anyone else have a favorite 'natural' looking double lift?

    FOC by me

Hehehe, nice job :) Looks like an awesome variation on CHANGE by Daniel Madison - you should do a live performance sometime for us to see ;)

Does this happen to you too?

BLASPHEMY. Card College and Mark Wilson's Complete Course aside, Tarbell has some of the greatest hidden gems you'll find in any book. Period. BUT, I totally get what you mean - these books can be overwhelming by the sheer amount of tricks. I went through a similar phase when I first started...

Anthony - that just made my head explode. Literally don't know how I'm even typing right now.

    Weirdo Change

Also - lightening in your room could be very dangerous. A bolt of lighting, as we all know from Back to the Future, contains over 1.21 gigawatts - very dangerous. However getting some lighting equipment may be a good idea ;)

    Weirdo Change

I don't know what creative elixer you are drinking, but you are coming up with some very creative stuff! I haven't personally seen anything like this before - keep it up!

    The Wire

Agreed - lots of really awesome stuff in that book, as well as Expert Card Technique and The Card Magic of Lepaul. But good on you for discovering the method on your own! Keep on practicing :)

    Not So Tiny Bubbles...

It's called MOJOE by John Kennedy. I'm still unsure about the bubbles. The levitation was I believe somewhat practical, but altered to make it look a bit better for the movie, with the bubble surrounding her CGI. The in the hands bubbles though - still a mystery :)

    Wire Sells

Wow - Lyle couldn't have put it more perfectly! It totally varies for different people - a lot of it rides on you as the creator, as Lyle said. If you promote it, and have a following, naturally more people will find it. But sometimes you can gain a following just from continually putting out...

Saturday Night Contest - The Carrot Cake Challenge

Hey everyone, today is Saturday, and it's time for another round of our Saturday Night Contests. This week, inspired by our Expose segment with Daniel Garcia yesterday - and his birthday - we're hosting a challenge to create a trick. Here's how it works: Daniel Garcia is phenomenally talented...

    SIGNATURE by me

Oh my word, Vinnie C. I remember literally thinking you were the coolest person on earth on the penguin forums back when I was 11. Not that you aren't just as cool now - but I'm kind of star struck here. Mike - I think you've got an awesome trick here! It certainly fooled me, definitely...
