    Let's talk about controls

Guys, let's talk about card controls. And the exact question is why there is tendency to put the card in the middle, and then control it by, for example, transposing the two halves (Pass) or cutting the deck (Table cut), or by using any other techniques? I know that the Pass is an utility move...

    My Own DVD

Most tricks have their own creator. And if you do not ask permissions from those creators, it would be very disrespectful. Go and create your DVD only if you have your own creations, and even routines based on classic moves.

    Fake or not?

After watching some of his videos again, I understood that everything he's doing can be done in real life, it's not the camera trick or editing. But there's one question left for me: HOW the hell? He gave me the expirience of the spectators... And that confuses me a lot :)

    Card trick i created

True. If the force is clean and deceptive, I would like to look at it in action. Is it something you came up with (I mean force)?

    Bertram Change

Really found this difficult to do, and there are so many practical variations of this change, I mean they look visually kinda the same, but of course, methods are different. Reccoment ya to go and pick up the Gorilla Change by Dan Hauss (1on1 here), good angles and quite easy to do.

    Rising Card

Yeah. These are two different effects - "the card that kinda pops out of the deck" and "the card that is out jogged and you can see how it rises to the top". If you're looking for the best trick from the second category, go get Shifty by Chris Kenner 1on1. Don't actually reccomend Fallen by...

    Hand Exercise's

Ah, my magical friends, I have a question. Do you really feel the difference before and after using these products? I always thought that this is kind of autosuggestion.

    Why so many changes?

Yes, of course. I always thought that the fact that you have to practice the move and feel the potential of it must not be repeated in every post on the forum. If you wanna be good magician, wanna get the jaw-dropping reaction not only from your spectators, but from magicians too, you have to...

    Signed Coin Through Window

I kinda agree with you. Why create the thread about your product? Just in order to heighten the curiosity of other magicians? If your creation deserves to be noticed, it will, right after posting a link to the YouTube video on this Theory11 forum.

    Fake or not?

These "most people" are we. We are the magicians, not the laypeople. I agree that most of his videos are not edited in any way and these effects can be performed live, but he has some videos with some unbelieveble things such are the coin vanish, the color change that are seem impossible to do...

Genesis by Andrei Jikh, right handed?

In VCL media player there's an option that allows you to flip the video horizontally, and now Andrei becomes right handed :) And you can easily learn the moves. I use this a lot, I'm sure that helps! - Alexander

When is Genesis Volume 2 coming?

It seems you haven't. In this thread I and JB described the situation, enjoy the reading.

    Pen tricks?

    Yes! Exactly! Thanks ;)

    Name of move?

Or, it can be the Elevator cut by Eric Jones you can pick up here on Theory11 1on1 section.

    Hand Exercise's

You can find some of those in Dan and Dave's Trilogy, Dics 3. Difficult to describe the moves, and unrespectable for D&D. I reccomend to pick up the whole Trilogy, awesome piece of floushing and magic.

    Why so many changes?

Yup, that's right. The same situation must be with your controls, double lifts and other techniques. That makes your magic at least more various.

    Magician Chat

Great place to chat, but sometimes this chat is too deserted.

    Why so many changes?

Every color change has its visual and technical role. It's just obvious.

    Pen tricks?

Gregory Wilson has a great pen routine (where the cap and the pen itself dissapear and appear again, the ear is used), can't remember how it's called. Appolo Robbins has his handling of this effect, you can check it in "Apollo Robbins and Shoot Ogawa - Cultural Exchange Vol. 2". Also, Gregory...
