    Don't get a DVD camcorder. The technology is dead. Either get Mini DV or Hard Drive. The Hard Drive technology still isn't fully there yet but it's stepping up. Right now, Mini DV is the way to go. Mitch

    Also, what you think is HD will most probably not be FULL HD. The Flip shoots 1280x720. Which is not full HD. Sony cameras shoot HDV. Which is 1440x1080. Which is not FULL HD. If you're shooting to tape you cannot shoot full HD. Only higher end camcorders can shoot true HD 1920x1080. These...

    HD to SD doesn't matter. It's how you use it. In the end the magic will tell all. The flip is a nice camera, but if you plan on shooting street videos often I would most definitely check out my post above... Those cameras will be your best bet. Mitch
