    Rubber Band Magic

Actually, Stairway is based on Dan Harlan's effect. And I find that a great personal connection to the effect that Stairway provides is the fact that the spectators can hold the bill as it travels both up and down the bands.

    Rubber Band Magic

I wasn't aware that you were the creator of the effect and I meant no disrespect to you or your effect in any way and I apologize if that's the way my post sounded. I was mainly trying to say that I love Stairway because, like your effect, it is both easy, impromptu, and practically...

New Idea: Tips by Magicians on Effects

I'm not really sure if this is any good of an idea or not but I figured it could be really helpful. Now lets say you buy an effect, or learn a new one from a DVD. The DVD or book can teach you everything there is to know but you still feel that hesitation to perform the effect to everyone...

    Rubber Band Magic

You obviously haven't seen Stairway then.

    FIVE - The First Review

Personally I love this DVD. I think this is probably one of the only DVD's I've ever bought where I'm going to use all of the effects. It really is that good. I absolutely love Stairway too. It's ridiculously visual and really easy. I believe that the ideal sized rubber bands for most...

    Rubber Band Magic

Most rubberband magic is quite simple. Some of it can have some tricky set-ups but most of it is pretty easy. You don't really have to start in a specific place. Some fantastic rubberband effects though are: -Pixel by David Jade (From Dan and Dave.com) -Crazy Man's Handcuffs...

    Your "arsenal" for a party...

Balloons, half dollars, a few packs of cards, invisible deck, Strip Gimmick, WOW Gimmick. That's just a few but I could entertain for hours with that.

    Amazing.

    Wow. That was truly inspiring.

    Creative Process... UGH

Honestly, don't try and think of effects. First off, you shouldn't need to in the first place. There's nothing wrong with performing other people's effects. And I haven't ever sat down with a deck of cards with the intent of creating a trick. It just happens.

    The Acetone Switch

I have to say I would probably never use this. Angles could be a problem with this and I can't even see myself performing for someone on a table at that angle. And on a poker table surrounded by people everything has to be basically angle-proof.

    FIVE - The First Review

How would you say the difficulty of these effects compare to those on Symphony? Specifically speaking of Jacob's Ladder and Stairway.

    Gaff Dice; Load a Dice

I'm not sure what the name of it is but I have a weighted die that you can choose which number it's weighted to. It's really cool.

Bicycle Brown Rider Back Playing Cards

No offense but I have to say that those look pretty ugly to me. It looks like the red colors were just made a bit darker to make brown.

What exactly does Derren Brown do...?

    Mentalist. Plain and simple.

Voting open for Up Close Card Trick

My vote definately goes to you. The other video was ridiculously hard to understand. I couldn't actually tell what the effect was.

    Palming Coins All Day Long

I am very confused that picture. First off, we can't even see what you're doing. Why not show the palm of your hand. And also, why were your fingers curled in? That's not part of the classic palm.

    Palming Coins All Day Long

10 years? That's not really true at all. I'd say I've mastered the Classic Palm and I learned it about 2 years ago. I only REALLY started practicing it about one year ago.

    Palming Coins All Day Long

That's a bit backwards. You should know how to classic palm before you attempt to Muscle Pass. Why run before you can walk? First off, I recommend looking for a lot of Kennedy Half Dollars. Those are the coins that you will want to practice your coin magic with. Quarters are too small...

    Coins For Your iPhone

That seems really cool. I'll try it out. Thanks.
