    Hofzinser

its not that its rediculously difficult. I would say the only truly difficult thing in his book is the reparation effect. But everything else is doable with a month's worth of study and practice. And can be extremely hard hitting, i must say. Well that and the second phase of his triumph...

    Best Coin Magician

Roth is a creator- not a performer. I think what he means to say is that using Roth's patter will bore any audience to death, but with the right patter, roth's stuff is incredable.

no mate it is far different. Guy spends four paragraphs at most on the subject at the end of the first chapter. Don't be fooled by its brief description though, it is a very visual way to perform the Aces problem. LJ, by contrast, has a much bulkier version- yeah, id say thats the right word for...

    Forum Suggestion

It would be a bad idea for these forums for one reason.... many people on these forums are new, and dont really know what they are talking about. Forums like decknique, where you havea lot of experienced people, the idea is good. Not here.

Chicken Sandwich - Created by Alfie Whattam

Dude, get off your high horse. You said it was your ORGINAL EFFECT. Not us, you said that. Research more before you make comments like that.

Chicken Sandwich - Created by Alfie Whattam

its not orginal, big guy. Its actually a kind of obvious idea. You really dont need a link to an effect that is a BASIC sandwich effect. One tip for you though, learn the pinkie count, and it will make your magic look much better. And Dont be so obvious with the tilt man. Just some advice.

    Simplicity

Again, i think it is the way you perform. you may have better reactions with a riffle force, mind read reveal, while some one else can get a better reaction with a cascade control and a palm to pocket. but, i think, the opening trick should be simple, but as the performance goes on, and you...

    a1magician's Five Magic Creations

Thats more of... the exception that proves the rule. As a rule of thumb, magic descriptions are different than the actual viewing, BECAUSE the description is SANS the bad sleights, sans the bad patter, and sans the all around poor performance. With description, all you see in you head is the...

    Simplicity

Its all about what you are trying to present. If its actual magic, then by all means, simple can be great! but if you are playing the card guy, then VISUAL slieght of hand is nessecary. It shouldnt matter if the effects are sleight heavy or not, because the audience isn't supposed to see the...

    Coin Vanish From Sick

dude, i hate to rain on your parade, but most good, visual, IMPROMTU coin magic is going to be angle sensitive. Thats why you dont see that much on coin magic, because good coin work is going to be angle senstive. A good performer will recognize the angles needed and work from there. Vanish CAN...
