    I couldn't do the Ego Change at first either. Instead of looking for an alternative, however, I practiced. Now I can do it extremely fluidly with ease. Trust me, bailing out on a move for an easier one is not a habit you should get into. Keep practicing. You will get it eventually. :)

    Harbour change

    The Harbor Change uses a new kind of palm so that your fingers can be open. I have small hands too and can't really palm (even though I do it anyway under misdirection) but this palm seems to be easier for me. Mike Hankins is on the forum, so maybe you should try messaging him!

    I've found that the effects that are the easiest and simpler tricks in the magicians eyes are the most fooling and most hard-hitting. Never has a complicated move-monkey sleight trick fooled an audience in my experience.
