    Why Hofzinser Ain't Around

Big fan of Hofzinser's material, I like the replacement of the twisting phase, putting a vanish instead. I bet this is where Racherbaumer comes in :P I'll try to guess the Reynold's touch too. You can smell his style at the beginning, very ... Marlo-ish Thats being said, I didn't like it much...

    Gambling Sleights

I agree with your logic, Marlo found it weird that people practice seconds, bottoms and centers extensively, only to expose it. You can USUALLY use these moves secretly right after you use them openly in a gambling routine. There are couple of things going for you when it comes to using them...

An Extension of Me - 3 DVD Set by Eric Jones

Any card work on the DVDs Eric? If yes, will it contain your version of Guy's Waving the Aces? If no, you thinking of publishing your work on that soon? Cheers, P.S. we can start some sort of union for magicians fans of Bioshock. While I'm a Bio big fan and in FPS in general, the thing I...

What's the most advanced card sleight?

What do you mean by "advanced" :S .. If you mean in terms of physics, I'd go with the S.W.E, very unorthodox.

The Collected Works of Alex Elmsley Volume I

Not what I'd call "indepth review", its more like comments about table of contents, but then again, every review of this book will seem to be like that. An indepth review will take months to do. :D The book is gold.

Card Trick on top on your head ...

Someone just figured out the secret of eternal happiness. Unless you mean version worked out by others >_< ..

Old move that we do not use!

You're right, its a variation that allows you to do the Elmsley from a biddle grip rather than a pinch grip. Not to be confused with the Veeser Concept, which is the concept of adding/stealing cards in the action of counting ( which almost always means stealing by biddle steal, and adding)...

    Noki Change

    Its very different from Erdnase.

    The Magician and the Cardsharp

Amazing book, I highly recommend it too.

    Noki Change

I support Mr.tokyo-sama. The concept has been explored before by Jerry Andrus ( The Amazing Change ), exact change has been published by Peter Duffie. Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9pR4PEjm9w In other words, re-publishing wont be a very ethical thingy. However, this is not...

    Lets talk Top Change

I totally agree, beside the terrific magic in there, this is the technique I use for the top change. cedwards90, out of interest, do you do any Cups and Balls? Cheers,

    Just got Crash Course 1 & 2

Actually its a mixed bag. The way to look at it is that, everyone can have their opinions, but having their opinions respected is totally different. I admit I like the Swiss knife/open heart surgery analogy. Cheers,

    Worlds Fastest Pass

Kardyo worked on the concept, then later on Marlo with his One Card Pass, then made perfect by Steve Draun with his Draun Control. He fixes an important flaw which your version have. Good hunting! ;)

TC One Card double lift video

@ The Amazing Tarquin, did you meet Marlo by any chance? I was having a discussion while back with a Marlo freak and your name came up. Would love a bit of history on that. I do personally think that this is something many people can arrive at by working with the KM move. ( @Sean_Raf: Its by...

My Modified Version :: Top Shot

Nothing you should apologize for. Word of advice, while alot of people have been reinventing the wheel, cars were only invented more or less 8000 years later. Keep thinking, you might on hit upon something. You'll never know. The reason I'm saying this because it happened to me and many...

My Modified Version :: Top Shot

This is the point everyone having problem with. Reinvention happens all the time. Everyone becomes frustrated when they reinvent the wheel. The problem with your post is that you want to protect your credit to a move that many think its something anyone can obviously arrive at. You could...

    need help with second dealing

    - Use lighter grip. - Begin with a broken deck. - Practice dealing tops while not looking at your hand. Make your thumb contact the same spot it would contact while 2nd dealing. - Do the above while doing 2nds. Get a long movie to watch while you do so. I recommend the GodFather. lol

Tip about AFI from the Avenue DVD

Its an inversion routine that uses a gaffed card. I never liked this particular version for 2 reason: 1) Nothing new from an effect standpoint. 2) I think the use of the gaffed card can be much more subtle. I think the main thing about it here is that its a magician fooler, but then again...

Simon lovell gambling moves or darwin ortiz card cheating?

Simon Lovell's video gives a brief explanation about the moves, and good as a video supplement to books. Ortiz's video is not intended as an explanation video at all. You see the moves done well and thats it. Its an exposure video for the gambling market, not a teaching one. Richard Turner's...

My New Theory Ace Assembly 2

Jack Carpenter has something very similar, same routine ( though a slightly different handling, which is quite basic ), though he ends with 4 aces and stops right there. Ends dirty as well. He shared it in the Cafe, look it up there. I LOVE this plot ( and assemblies in general ) and been...
