    Do you have another hobby?

Since I was offecially out of my deck supply and wont be getting any for a long time, I had to spend my time more on other stuff ( other than coin magic. I wont destroy my card-man pride  ) Video games ( PC strategy and 1st person shooters, Wii .. ), chess and movies.

    Criss Angel - Card Magic

While I dont have any opinion on Criss Angle, as I dont care, in the video posted by Itwasluck, 2 girls kissed him reacting to card magic. I doubt he's an average entertainer, I dont get kissed alot myself

    Past Midnight by Benjamin Earl

I was extremely disappointed but thats because of the hype. Mostly minor variations on published sleights ( difficult to find ones ). Like the Curry bottom palm, un-finessed middle card steal, bad-effect version of Jerry Sadowtiz's Name a Card Triumph ( though he did reduce the number of needed...

Where to find best torn and restored?

Unless your shop is getting the Reformation video, which is unlikely, you can find the 40-page description in Guy's book. Cheers,

Review: One-Hand Top Palm by Alex Linian (download)

He's talking about doing the move openly, as a change, rather than a method palming out cards. I don't see where you guys coming from. The shake helps conceal the move as a color change ( obviously as a palm its a totally different equation ). He worked out a method to clean up, which looks...

    Beyond Secrets - Sankey

I agree totally. Sankey's views on arts in general is intresting and everyone can benefit from reading about it. Even if you don't like Sankey's brand of magic , the essays are thought provoking, and the arguments are intelligent and well founded. I highly recommend it.

    Top 5 Impromptu Card Tricks?

When it comes to card magic, impromptu usually means no prop is used except a deck. In other words, FASDIU, From A Shuffled Deck In Use. Cheers,

The Penetration of Four Cards Through a Jacket

I dont have the book right now, but is it the one that Guy does in his London Collection videos? If so, I didn't check the method, but the trick looks really sweet, especially if you're dressed formally.

    After RRCM

No problem man, its just I saw a pet peeve of mine ( or I thought I did ) and jumped. Cheers mate, :)

    After RRCM

praetoritevong, dude, you just said my pet peeve. >_< Three questions: 1) Why would he need to master anything in the book? 2) Assuming someone would like to master something in the book, say Palming, is the book sufficient for this? 3) Is mastery an end-goal in the first place? While it did...

    Flustration Count Alternative

Extremely deceptive, though because of how the count looks, I think it has it proper and not-so-proper contexts. The technique Denis Behr uses in the video above is from Apocalypse. Roger Klause has a move which is perfect for the diminishing lift. Cheers,

    Favourite Control?

You're awesome. An example: a Stop trick. The deck needs to be shuffled, you're doing some psychology thingy. If you have it on top without shuffling, and they stop you early, then its the "card raising to a named location" thingy. Two different stuff.

    What move is this?

With respect to Brad, that was a poorly executed Marlo Visual Retention change. Marlo's original cover is waaaay better. Its in a Marlo newsletter called Heirophant. Ninja 2 might have it, as state it above, though I dont own it.

    Undercover Switch - Kostya Kimlat

I asked the above question because every cardman who knows Ken's switch will instantly try it out with a single card. I hoping Kimlat is giving something extra (streamlined handling .. etc ) rather than just teaching something many people stumped upon.

    Undercover Switch - Kostya Kimlat

? Thats Ken Krenzel's switch ( some people argue that its Alex Elmsley's ) done with one card :S I used this as well as many before me. Is there any real technical refinements behind it, or is it just taught as is?

    History Quiz:

Yup, Oakland news or something. Since you're the first to answer, ask a question, or pass it to The Tumbleweed if you don't want to. magicman1212, he created the Braue Reversal, Braue addon, rear palm, and many other stuff. Check his stuff in Expert Card Technique, Royal Road and if you...

    Have you ever met?

I pointed out the credits for someone (who's knowledgable and he's a fairly known in the online magic community ) who posted a video of his creation, I notified him about the name of book. He told me that a similar idea appeared in an even older book, I thanked him for adding to my knowledge...
