    To-the-bottom Pass

I thought the two were the same ? Sorry, my mistake. When you return from college, you have a short attention span lol Anyways, the principle of the how card moves ( assuming the principle is the same ) belongs to Krenzel, I should mention that its first published in the Classic Magic of Ken...

Impossible Card Magic by Ray Kosby?

No gimmick is needed for any of these. Difficulty is a relative thing, whats difficult for me might be a piece of cake for you. The DVD focuses on the uses of one move, which is not the easiest in the world. Smudge, Pac Jacks and the O&W don't use it. Cheers,

    To-the-bottom Pass

The action is Ken Kreznel's one card steal. The dribble cover was explored by many, first refined handling of this cover was published in Card College vol.1. Check it out, although you reinvented the move, you didn't do it well. :) A vid on the original steal...

    The UMC

lol ... I'm forming a secret group myself, call it UMC ( Underground Magic Castle ). All members are truly underground. So underground that no one cares.

    Uses for the Second Deal

If you're a Diamond Cut Diamond fan ( ;) ), be sure to check David Solomon's treatment of the effect ( Solomon's Mind ) as well as Marlo's treatment in his New Tops ( M.I.N.T vol.2 ). Simon Lovell's version is done as a center dealing demonstration. Thanks for the Alex Elmsley trick, I'll...

    Rear palming

Shanku, there is a big difference between "you CAN use it" and its "BEST used for ... etc". :)

    Rear palming

I'd love to know a source, since if you mean holding out cards, there are much better ways to do this, let alone that rear palming while seated usually makes the look of the hand awkward. Cheers,

    Uses for the Second Deal

It might be the case with a CAAN, since the number is called for before the dealing begins. In the Stop trick ( they stop you anywhere, you deal the stopped-at-card aside ), I don't think its suitable. There are also versions of CAAN where the deck is tabled and you deal the cards, or versions...

    Richard Turner

Glad you had fun man! I enjoyed his Magic Castle performance in one of his DVDs, demostrations of superhuman skill, and what puts him from the rest, is that its for real! His eye sight is a bit short too, what he's doing is sure not easy.

    Magic is an Art

Chess and medicine, both can be done ... "artisticly" :) You could count PC strategy games too :P .. C&C Red Alert 3 is almost there! Cheers,

    Uses for the Second Deal

Lets be honest here, how many card guys can pull off a slow second from a white bordered deck, and if they do, doing it without some awkward movements? I don't like doing the stop trick with seconds ( fast for me + necktie ) because there are much fair-looking solutions, I do the whole thing...

    Rear palming

Depends on the card work and effects you do, and your personal preference. Tenkai palm ( and its variations ) is another palm not used alot in close up while standing up, though used alot while sitting, where you have a very big advantage since you can load or steal from your lap easily. There...

    Tired of the magic industry?

I don't see how is this a "new movement" ... Magic shops have been always selling these books. @fridoliina, today's video editing can be the crappiest trick in the world look the best. Personally I think the quality of the material released has dramatically decreased, with very few...

    Rear palming

The palm is no way the easiest. Also, keep in mind that having very dry hands will make relying on this palm impossible, and your study will mostly be academic. To help a bit, for a start, think of it as the CORNERS of the card is held between the 2 fingers mentioned in the book. You could...

    Past midnight 2

There are different types of deck stacks. Si Stebbibns is based on a formula, and is a cyclical stack. You can't know what where with this one, with some few exceptions. There are also algorithmic (spelling) stacks, and memorized stacks ( like the Aronson & Mnemonica, which are not the only...

Need help finding the source & past development of this psychic spread force...

Check Thought Force in Oz Pearlman's DVD Watch Magic ( or Moving Pips, see their product pages to make sure ). It is something many magicians have come up with ( if we're talking spreading the deck and trying to force one of the cards to them ). A friend of mine told me that Garret Thomas did...

    Levitation Patter: Hanged

You could have an "invisible rope". When you want to perform it, act looking around for something, and when you "find it", act looking around for a place to hang it. Tell them you want to hang yourself, and do the effect. Thisis really a very good presentation :)

    More Performances

PLEASE don't say "your card is not on top, or bottom" ... I have NO IDEA why people say this. You might say "your card is buried in the middle, no way near the top or bottom", or saying it in a proper context. But throwing it after a card selection is meaningless. For that collectors routine...
