PK Ring? M5? Fill me in please?

Yeah. I'd only wear it when needed.

PK Ring? M5? Fill me in please?

I don't know anything about M5, but PK rings are magnetic. They're also pretty dang strong, so I'd be careful of how I'm using it and when.

    Can you do it again?

It depends on who you're performing for, I guess. If they're asking to ask, make up something that makes you look good. If they seem genuinely interested and maybe pester you a bit, I'd say it's worth telling them - After all, we all started where they are now as well, right? Me? I usually...

    New Jerry's Nuggets

I tried adding one to my cart just for fun, and this is what I saw: We are very sorry but because it's the 1st of April somewhere on this globe and some people think that our cards are a joke, we decided to not sell any deck today. Please check again later. Sorry for any inconvenience and...

Peter Eggink's Cased - and why I think it's rubbish

To be honest, here's my 2 cents. I think it's a cool opener, like b_08 mentions. Something to whet their appetite, so to speak. However, I'm not too keen on performing it, so my intuition tells me it's a waste. I only perform what I like to perform, as I do magic for me first and then my...

    Herman Pass vs Classic Pass

Just a quick note about the hermann pass: I prefer to use variants on the hermann pass. If you find you're having a bit of trouble with it, check out Steve Draun's "flutter pass" and "midnight shift". They're both variants that I use as cover for the move. However, I should warn you that...

    USPCC Targeting Magicians?

I'm sorry I'm an ass. I really am. And that isn't sarcasm. I wholeheartedly agree. I've been having a rough time lately so I've been turning my anger towards the forum guys. So make of it what you will.

    Herman Pass vs Classic Pass

Depends on whether you've handled a deck often enough before getting into magic. I, for example, spent years playing card games before I even considered magic. So it was an easy transition for me, I guess. I say get comfortable and natural with cards, then attempt whatever you want once you've...

    Herman Pass vs Classic Pass

I'd just like to stop by here and make a comment about EATCT. Not that I dislike it or anything, but magicians highly overrate the book. Most rarely use anything in there except for maybe the palming methods, and it's a dry and boring read throughout most if it. Erdnase isn't the book people...

Peter Eggink's Cased - and why I think it's rubbish

The comment about him sounding like HaLo... ouch. But Lorayne writes reeeeeally long essays sometimes. And is quite fun(ny?) to read at times. :D

    Magic Con Playing Cards

Don't be. I deserved it. I'd just like to state for the record, however, that I'm not a bikes-only man. It's just annoying to have seen him pop up 3 threads in less than a week about a different custom deck each time. Not that it justifies my actions, of course. My apologies to Patrick...

    What Kind of Bend?

I had a pack of cards in the side pocket of my backpack today that were exposed to the cold for about 20 minutes. Got a nasty warp in them. Was dribbling and table riffle shuffling them for about 30 minutes and it slowly started to go. Usage of cards will help get a warp out too.

Help with Choosing a Good Control to Learn

I have finally encountered a quote worth putting in my signature. And for clarity's sake regarding the "Orbit Control". Please. It's not even close to Chris Brown's. It was well known even in Erdnase's time. As proof: (taken straight from the section on the Diagonal Palm Shift): The...

    What Kind of Bend?

Think he means concave or convex lengthwise. I don't really care about how it's "bent".

    Vector by Patrick Kun

If I'm correct in what pop out move's used, I believe it works fine for most angles looking down on the pack. Looking at the sides or from the bottom will reveal it.

Which emails work for The Magic Cafe?

As an off-topic note: You should add "Erdnase - not erdanase or erdanse" to your signature. Annoying to see people spell it wrong when trying to back up a point only specified in theory, rather than from past experience. But Harry Lorayne's thinking is the most fun to read, for sure. A...
