    Gripping -- Jones Change

Like with most spin flourishes, before you get used to it, it will slip off. Tornado Cut is a flourish that comes to mind with the same issue. Not everybody have it, but I did. Unfortunately the only advice to give is keep at it, you'll get it eventually. -Erik

Magic Weekend 2007 part 1 - THE SESSIONS.

Would that be "llan" or "Alln"?

    FITH Finally!

I believe Huron will go over justification for using flash paper in the performance. And ii you still don't like it, he also has ways of restoring the card without the flash paper. -Erik

    FITH Finally!

You guys will like this! I know for sure I will. Ever since I saw a performance of this several years ago, it has puzzled me. Finally it gets the attention it deserves. Awesome, Huron! -Erik

Magic Weekend 2007 part 1 - THE SESSIONS.

If you aren't gonna finish the other parts up, because you don't get much feedback, I am no longer proud of being part of these videos. I would never had thought you made these videos just to get feedback. I thought you made them for people to be entertained, and get to "feel" what a great time...

    The Duck Change

I was tired when I "cleared that up", sorry. The both flip book-wise in the same direction, that's it. -Erik

    The Duck Change

They both flip "book-wise", in different directions though, but the mechanics of the changes are still 100% different. -Erik

    Oil and Water

I use Guy Hollingworth's routine from Drawing Room Deceptions, and occasionally Hiro Sakai's "Color Sunder" from the October 2006 issue of Genii Magazine. I think both these routines are brilliant in both construction and effect. -Erik

    The Duck Change

This also means you don't have to angle the right hand (I personally think Dave angles the hand a bit too much when doing it in Déjà vù, but it's personal preference). -Erik

    Combining Studying and Magic

That is a damn interesting idea. Good luck to those who try it. -Erik

Has anyone here ever seen a Viking do an 8 packet display?

A Canasian Viking, haha. It should be illegal for people outside Scandinavia to dress like Vikings. =D -Erik

    How do you do this?

It was published in "The Lecture Notes of Shigeo Futagawa", in May 2000. It's on page 12, and called "The Elevator Card". -Erik

Stop me if this is exposure--Top Shot Help

@Longman: Your pinky moves straight down, and not to the side. It's a knacky move, but keep at it, and you'll get it down eventually! It's not a very trustworthy source though, and not ethical at all. @maxrob22: A good source for learning Top Shot would be Lennart Green's "Green Magic...

    Favorite songs for Cardistry...

I don't happen to have a favorite song for flourishing, I'd get bored with if I listened to it everytime I practiced. I try to practice with all different types music, without music etc. I think you need to be flexible and able to flourish in most environments. I know some people depend on the...

    Full Metal Jacket

It's a brilliant booklet, and it contains top notch material. My favorites include "Thank you LePaul" and "A logical lesson". Both of which I use frequently. I love "Lie Detector", and I think it's very clever. The only reason why I don't use it, is because the spelling doesn't work in Swedish...

    Movie about piracy

Losander has made a nice movie about piracy: Check it out I really think he managed to highlight the message in a good way. Losander is really one of the best persons to listen to when it comes to piracy, thinking about how many fake tables are floating around out there. -Erik

    Any sessions in Stockholm?

Yeah, we're from Sweden, but we only meet a few times a year. Living 4 hours apart makes meeting up really difficult. I am in Karlstad, which is on the west side of Sweden, while Stockholm is on the right. Then Jonas is down south in Jönköping. So yeah, we live as far away from each other as...

    Vertigo from The Trilogy

Make sure you hit with the inner side of the foot/ankle. This is where the foot is most flat, meaning the packet will touch more evenly. Also follow the tip as mentioned on the DVD; let the foot "go" with the packet, and follow it. This way it won't be a hard direction change for the packet, but...
