    It's Reality for ya...

yeah thats what sinful is thinking of. I heard they got a standing-O when they performed their flourishes for a bunch of magicians which apparantly is rare b/c DBsquared doesnt perform much. Heres the thing, learning 7 different molecules or a 000.327.0411 or whatever isn't going to help a...

    some flourishing questions

the pivot cut is just like, pick up half the deck with your finger and instead of pivoting it off your opp thumb/finger like usual, just twist your wrist and let it go and yeah it'll fly through the air or whatever. Well dude for the fans I think you need either XB or the Encyclopedia. I...

    "Innovation" - Teaser (Cardistry Vid)

dang that looked bad, don't take this the wrong way but the whole first half, there was no card manipulation it was just "man these guys really want to be dan and dave", you have a logo and a dbsquared I mean jrsquared channel, a bunch of shots of your cards sitting on a bench and then a bunch...

    One-Handed Cuts

my favorite one hand cut is Max321's signature combo of thumb cuts and running charliers with a crazy split in there, you can find it in the HL kickass#2 video at the very end.

    Ccc '09?

Are you ak'sing because you want to see vids, or make a vid for prizes? I think it's doubtful that another organized competition will happen.

That is great news that you're getting the system. keep us posted and let us know when you learn the WERM.

    Practice Video

I agree with jake, although you were a step above n00b with the cards it was still very amateur feeling because of the webcam and the lack of cleverly routined original material. But it wasn't unwatchable like alot of n00b vids. The CTBs was pretty cool but once again, webcam quality and...

    Fan manipulation

what you have to do is learn to make your fans really stable, then you can flip them any old way you could a regular deck. Jerry recommends practiciing your twirls with something like a book, then just use a deck with alot of powder so it holds together when you're flippin it.

What DVD's for cardistry like Andrei?

Pho Sho, andrei's DVD should be off the hinges . he's good because he came up in the HL style which requires you to practice uncut routines. i recommend just trying to learn the basics really well and you can make up your own concepts and won't feel limited to starting everything in zgrip :)

    What's new and cool?

I can't believe you said that!!! haha :p to the original poster, I would say that if you quit for a while, you will no doubt soon quit again, so it doesn't really matter what you learn since you likely won't be around long enough to get good at it. just pick something random!

    Wynns vs. Other Decks

You guys are all n00bs, if you used fanning powder with a different deck, it'll do everything that you like about wynn decks but will still fan well. the one good thing about these decks is the stock which is hella springy for card shootings and springs. the design looks cool too

    Dan doing pandora update

Oh my god, I loved it so much but I would have liked to see the pandora done exactly the same about 12 more times for it to be perfect. Can you upload a "remix"?

ZX and DCMMLMA (not a mem yet)- 1st clip

just kidding, it was okay, but a couple things were terrible. The first minute (and the last minute) were all just boring text on a black background. I'm sorry but nobody cares that this is the first video..... from a new group..... etc etc, just show us the flourishes next time (this video...

    Practice Flourish into busy life.

I was gonna suggest the same thing, also, instead of just cards, learn to manipulate rings, and pens, you can play with them too!

    Jackson Five

the thing about the leno cut is, there are already a ton of displays involving huge messes of packets, and you can do a chin rollout out of ANY display, so I don't get why anyone would want to learn specifically the DBsquared Leno. it just takes way too long of splitting and regripping packets...

    L-Cuts

It's a term used in woodworking; when dovetailing a joint you want to use a bandsaw first and place an L-cut in the proper channel, or else swelling from the humidity where you live may cause your chair to fall apart when it changes shape. Of course if you're in a dry hot climate they aren't...
