About how many flourishes should a flourisher know?

Jeff Mcbride always said, pick something and do it really good instead of trying to do everything... I think that you should have a good foundation in the basic concepts, perhaps a better question would be about how many CONCEPTS should a flourisher know or be proficient at, and I would...

    Vertical Spin and Springs

vertical spin can crimp or actually tear thinner cards (like studs, absoluts, V slims etc) if you're not careful. springs are fine with anything just switch directions every now and then.

you know whats cool is if you do the hotshot cut upside down (set up for a normal one and just turn your hand 90 degrees over so the cards are face up-to the ceiling) even though you're pressing DOWN on the card it'll still shoot out and fly nicely horizontally or even boomerang/vertical if...

    Flourishing Advice

well you contradict yourself Dan. you say you're bleeping magicians, not flourishers, and then add on the classicly ignorant denigrator of "card jugglers" (how the **** is a giant fan juggling?) First you say it's the last thing you want to be, then you say you WANT to know what you're doing...

    Flourishing Advice

Webghost has astounding precision, but Jerry dominates because of the sheer number of different fans he has in his repertoire. Dragon you gotta check out the 2nd companion DVD.

    Flourishing Advice

he was asking for fanning tips and Jerry is the best fanning artist in the world. no-one has close to the same volume of proficiency at as many different fans... also, it's the only published resources at that level of fanning. either that or you pay farrell dillon or dan sperry 5 or 10...

    Flourishing Advice

well, from your username it sounds like you're already azn so that's a good first step. other than "practice", if you really want to get your fans good you have to learn to tune a deck with powder and stuff. well, actually not stuff, just powder. also be sure you are learning from the best...
