    50 Classic Passes

Don't bend over when doing a classic pass. Hands should stay in the normal resting position. Also, the pass should be done as soon as the hands meet. Later Edit (tokyoUW got me started): Also, what's the point in posting videos of a single move WITHOUT using it in a trick (or context)? I feel...

    Tally Ho Cincinnati

Technically no, for those of us who have over 300 decks in the other room. Besides, KY decks are not bad at all, it's just a mass excuse to raise the price of Ohio printed decks.

Saturday Night - Roundtable with Michael Herp

Jonathan, there's no doubt the project will be a hit, just as all the previously released Theory11 products. I know managing contests isn't easy, but next time you (or one of the moderators) may want to close the thread 1 minute after the deadline to eliminate situations like the one above...

Saturday Night - Roundtable with Michael Herp

    1) As opposed to card magic effects, flourishing involves less thinking and more raw creativity. It doesn't involve patter or misdirection, therefore it's the second closest thing to performing card magic for those with lesser (or undeveloped) social skills. Do you think that flourishing is a...

    Seconds and Bottoms

How about practicing more before shooting videos? Making brisk moves doesn't show skill at all when you're doing them like that, you know.

    Paperclip control

Please see: Frank Kelly's Bottom Placement - The Tarbell Course, pages 184-186 I'm pretty sure I saw Allan Ackerman commenting on this on one of his videos. I may come back later this week with actual titles.

    Should I teach magic?????

And the idea of teaching magic for free comes from one 14 year old who gets his money from his/her parents and from one guy who... well, take a look here, Jay Zamorak (from a Google search). Sorry, but I had to post this, I hate the hypocrisy. Following your ideas, Toni Slydini was an awful man...

    Should I teach magic?????

Yes, but don't do it for free. The average price for an hour-long lesson is usually 30 to 50$. Since they are children you could lower the price a bit. If the kids receive the gift of magic for free they won't treat the art with the respect it deserves.

    An old beginner question

It seems that you're the perfect viewer for Jeff McBride's "The Art of Card Manipulation". It's a three volume set and I recommend it since you probably will have to entertain children. :) The basic stuff on volume one require moderate amount of practice. As far as classic card magic goes, Mr...

    C101 invite, anyone?

Does anyone have a Cardistry101.com invite code to spare? Unfortunately I lost my old account details and I desperately wish to join the community again in time for the summer tournament. I'm giving away 6 decks of cards as a reward - 1 x Erdnase 1st Edition, 1 x Tally Ho Viper, 1 x Bicycle...

    Stay strong Japan.

Nor the last. Sorry for bursting your bubble. If you can't handle / ignore different opinions and points of view, by all means get off the Internet. The llama really needs your drama. Because she's a drama llama.
