    Tricks of David Blaine

Actually if you really want to become a better performer, than work on learning how to do classic stuff with a TT and start doing things that are really old. Because most performers out there are most likely constantly doing newer and newer effects because they THINK most spectators want and...

    Tricks of David Blaine

Some of that stuff is on the market and some of it is a combination of things that are not. The Card in Lemon/card to impossible location is a basic effect that is as old as the hills. Out of This World has so many variation's on it that it's just silly. etc etc.

    hypnosis fail

Some people just cannot be put under hypnosis, also it's a rehearsal thing. You need to rehearse what and HOW you are going to say it.

How do you create a presentation?

He's also doing a demo video and performing for the LL audience so the presentation is going to be less "personal" and much more straight forward. Like a good majority of the current and old LL videos. So you have to take that into account too.

    Need advice

I'd say if you want to post your videos on instagram for him to look at. Either make them password protected or put a screamer in them when it's about to get to the "magic". But the simpler solution is to just remove yourself from the equation. Take the high road and simply get rid of your...

How do you create a presentation?

It's not something that comes easy. It usually something that you slowly develop as you continue to perform said routines and start to learn what does and doesn't work for you. What I would suggest doing is first taking the "stock" presentations and writing them down word for word in a script...

    Hecklers

Or you could cheat and just get a dog that LOOKS like a wolf but is actually just a normal dog.

    Hecklers

Larry Jennings, Paul Harris and Wayne Houchin doing The Invisible Palm is a completely different thing because if done right, you technically aren't exposing anything when you really think about it. You expose that you can palm a card, then you go and destroy that idea. Penn and Tellers thing...

    Tablehopping experiences

Bank night is a parlor/stage routine. It's not meant for restaurant magic at all. Yes it can be funny, but there is too much by play with it and when you are doing strolling magic you often won't have the same amount of time as you think you're going to have. Sometimes you might have 2 min at a...

    Hecklers

A wolf Hybrid or a Rottweiler/Doberman/German Shepherd/Pitbull that is trained to look menacing would also do the trick as well.

    Hecklers

The first step is to take a look at what you are performing. If it's something that LOOKS like a puzzle. IE: I do this and that happens. Then you need to either change the presentation or throw it out. The 2nd thing is to do things that they can't "burn" you on. The 3rd thing is that you...

    Tablehopping experiences

Another idea is to get away from doing "pick a card" routines too much. I would suggest having only ONE set with a pick a card effect/routine and then if you have another set, make that card routine have something like 6 card repeat or something where they don't have to remember a card. Dai...

    Business Cards

You could go way over the top and do the Joel Boer or whatever his name was idea and have a single business card cost you 50 bucks and look like an entire pop out book. (Note: I wouldn't recommend this idea to ANYBODY, it's just plain stupid.)

    Tablehopping experiences

One of the things with card magic is that have you noticed that people tend to get this really cynical look on their face when you try to do too much card magic? The way to beat that is pretty much to just either not do card magic at restaurants or to treat it like a closer/pipe and slippers...

    Tablehopping experiences

Saltine Solution by David Williamson is actually a really good routine that uses common things found at ALL restaurants. It's also really easy.

    Tablehopping experiences

Another idea is to make up a set that has no card magic, and just have one "Bonus" card routine that you very rarely do. Thus creating the idea that it's something "special" for them or that they'd have to book you if they wanted to see your card magic. You should really treat you restaurant...

    Tablehopping experiences

First of all, you have way too much card magic and why are you using a routine that needs to be reset?(Specially one that requires an entire reset of a deck.) Here is what you should be doing. 1. Have something that get's reset the moment you finish performing it. IE: Sponge...

    Trying to Start Restaurant Magic

Well if you are going to do Restaurant magic you need maybe about 3 effects that reset instantly. I would suggest things like a Chop Cup, Rubber band magic and then maybe ending with quick card routine. Also, the sponge balls/rabbits is another good thing to do in restaurants specially as an opener.

Draven Reviews: Opening Doors by Henry Evans

The Trick That Cannot be explained isn't really something that NEEDS a dvd set on it. Roberto Giobbi in his lecture mentioned that if you know a few good card sleights than you can do it. Though I will say that Tamariz's tends to be one of the best versions out there for obvious reasons.
