    Best ACR Closer?

I think PH's Solid Deception is one of the best endings to any card routine. It's so surprising! I share the same thoughts as many other magicians - the trick is missing a visual element. Jay Sankey shared a cool, interesting solution on his Extremely Ambitious DVD. My idea results in the deck...

    Draven Reflects upon the Wire.

Producing and publishing magic is not all about the money you make. It's about your reputation, the company's reputation, and bringing quality products to the magic community. Vanishing Inc., in particular, is consistent with bringing great, boundary-pushing material. That's why I signed their...

    Draven Reflects upon the Wire.

I definitely agree some websites take more than the 40% - and 60% is a great deal. With that said, some companies do offer more.

    Draven Reflects upon the Wire.

From the companies I've worked with, talked to, and have seen, many offer the same royalties or more than what The Wire is offering. Plus, many companies offer a "buyout" - where they pay you a certain cost upfront and give you a certain amount of product. This is advantageous because it ensures...

    Best Torn and Restored!!!!

My torn and restored corner will hit the market shortly. It's the only t&r corner where the card can be cleanly displayed front and back before, during, and after the tear. The card is signed and after the corner is ripped off, it's initialed. I think you guys will like it!

    New website... thoughts?

Thanks for your thoughts! I changed the color scheme so the main text is all white, and the orange is for menus. I think it looks more uniform this way. I decreased the size of the main photo; do you still have to scroll? (I have a rather large monitor so I didn't have to scroll in the first...

    New website... thoughts?

Thanks Rick and Andrew! Does anyone think the width of the website is too large? Would it be better off smaller? Here are three examples: http://www.jeffprace.com/index.html (1200) http://www.jeffprace.com/trial2.html (1000) http://www.jeffprace.com/trial.html (800) Here is the complete...

    New website... thoughts?

Andrew, thanks so much for all the advice! It's much appreciated. I made all of your proposed changes except for the gray squares - I like the look, and they help with navigation. I'll consider changing the content on the "About" page, as well. Eric, what grammar errors did you see?

    New website... thoughts?

I resized the photos so they were much, much smaller. Is the website loading faster now? You're absolutely right; I've done just about no work with HTML or CSS. Good idea! I'll play around with different looks to see if I like it. Really? It's working on my computer. What does it lead you to?

    New website... thoughts?

Hey guys, Here's a link to my new website: http://www.JeffPraceMagic.com (or http://www.JeffPrace.com) It's quite new, so I'd love to hear your thoughts, tips, advice, and improvements. It basically has the same content as my last website, but I think it's a major upgrade. It doesn't have...

    Favorite Color Change

Similar in a sense. Josh gives a credit to Joel in MAGIC Magazine. They both have their advantages: mine has a one-handed operation, it's more visual, and it doesn't leave a face-up card in the center of the deck. Joel's change is less angle sensitive and a bit easier to do.
