My new favorite card trick ever

Haha, remember our discussion about this a couple of days ago? :D Anyways, being a loyal Marlo follower I must keep this eternal arguement going on and stay on Marlo's side. :P

    Perception

You should always tell the truth. Personally I never lie during my performances.

    Saturday Night Contest: The Vespa

"This is how things used to be before DG's "Torn" became more popular than "Torn Asunder."" "The power of magic unites us all. Young and old together." "You'd smile like this too if you could ride with CK"

Please be polite to your audiences!

I believe that was some new age street magic that some big dealers encourage kids to do.

My new favorite card trick ever

Yeah, one of the most satisfying books to study magic from. Rules of lapping, anyone? :D

My new favorite card trick ever

Best trick in the AoA is "whack your pack". I've been using it as an encore in my shows for a couple of years now. These books are full of gold. Don't wait for the DVDs, books are cheaper and you get more material with them.

"Any Rule In Any Art Can Be Broken."

But you must first know the rules and why they are there.

    Old Timer Magicians

"**** the old guys"? Geez, this ellusionist-generation doesn't know how to pay respect at all. I don't feel like going into that very much but I'd like to say two very minor things: 1) You will find million times better (stronger, more practical) material from books written by the...

    Cards From Mid-Air

Woops, I re-read my post, I didn't notice my exaggeration. I agree with that one^ However, I know a bunch of people who claim that it is physically impossible for them to do manipulations even if they'd love to do it. Just as an irrelevant note, McBride talks about different kinds of excuses...

When Does One Become a Magician?

When the audience isn't amazed by your finger skills. When the audience feels like they've witnessed magic.

    Cards From Mid-Air

I lol'd :D McBride series rock. Jeff Sheridan also has a manipulation DVD. There are some books also out there but it's a lot easier to learn this stuff from a video. It'll take a hellish amount of practise to get this stuff down. That is pretty much the only reason why there is not too...

    My effect, feedback appreciated

Sounds like a powerful routine. From the description it sounds like a well known method that has been out there for years. I wouldn't recommend selling it before you make sure it is really something new.

    Click Change?

Anyone have any idea why the click change is sold separately even it is included in the "commercial"? I've been wondering this for some time now.

    Best Pass Ever

Well said Jordan. I don't say that I wouldn't enjoy seeing someone execute a difficult shift awesomely. However I will say that I hate it when people with bad webcams post videos of their passes. The pass is a fast move and any bad quality camera will not be able to detect the move even when...

    Name of this trick

There are hundreds of ways to accomplish that effect. It is completely possible that he is using a double lift or some kind of shift that you are not aware of.

    Double Lift Techniques

It's a lot easier to lift your singles the same way you lift your doubles than lift your doubles the same way you lift your singles. Just a quick little note ;)

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5ou5xL4qCWQ There might be the full routine somewhere with a couple more phases. But basicly that's the routine.
