    The hardest/easiest Trilogy trick/flourish

Subway is easy. It is hard to get Twinsplit Remix to look really nice. I found all of the Molecule 4s, as well as Mecka extremely easy. I find Tectonic Verb damn hard. No one cares. At least I don't. I don't perform Trilogy material anyway. Allan.

    Jerry's Quality

Mine sure can fan. =) Corner cuts? Ouch, mine were sealed. Allan.

    Jerry's Quality

Silver Slippers. Just like the good 'ol Jerry's, they are really really hard to break in. Currently working on a red deck, trying to break it in. Meh. My Silver Slippers (I have two), both have an ugly "click bend" to them. They came like that, even though the black one is still sealed in...

Trilogy Video Contest :: The Winners!

Thanks so much for all the support guys! I think it is amazing how we managed to snatch the 2nd place by submitting what essentially was a template for a much better video. For those who want to download a high resolution example of our contest video - right click and save HERE. (please...

This guy performs magic really smoothly

In Claptrap? Well, really it's because he needs to move two cards, but it can be used as something like "So, this was not your card, and this was not your card? Okay, but if I set the deck down, and clap.." etc. Charles Hsu rocks btw. I love that book. Allan.

    Clip Shift Release Date?

And the chances are high. Shifts are generally hard to do. The Clip Shift is very hard to do. According to what I've heard, it may not be published at all. Oh well. Allan.

    How do you do this?

Yep. But, Kosby/Fred Robinson's version has a virtue this one doesn't have. It's done with one hand. Allan.

    How do you do this?

BUT. This is not the effect found in Mr. Kenner's book. Because Kenner's effect utillises a move that has previously been mentioned in this thread, more precisely the S.W.E Shift, without me going further into the methods used in the book. (It was kind of obvious from the name anyway) This is...

    Which Deck is your Style?

501s (Arrco US Regulation) and Texan 45. (Secret of the Palmettos). not that anyone bloody cares what cards I like.

Totaly Out Of Control. Chris Kenner

Oh, he sure does. ChrisKenner dot com (yes, that's clickable). But, it's not up yet, apparently. Has said "Coming soon" for a year or so now. I think George is trying to convince the Bucks to make Mr. Kenner a great site. But they already know George, and his persuasive techniques. Oh...

    Happy Birthday Mr Kenner.

Oh, yes, sure, why not. I always loved Totally Out Of Control. Especially "Perversion". Damn. I find myself using that every day. Well. Happy Birthday, Chris.

You know you're a card artist when...

Man, totally. I had a deck of Jerry's sitting out in the open at FISM, for like 5 minutes. Then this random guy comes along picking them up, and I pretty much overreact, start going "HEY HEY HEY, PUT THEM DOWN!" I kinda have a point in that, though, people, (esp. magicians) shouldn't just...

When's the last time you went outside?

I did a simple routine based on Kostya Kimlat's "Hallucogenic Gaze", but using Chad Nelson's clip shift instead of the move he uses (those who have his notes/book should know), and did a follow-up phase as well. My overall performance was decent, I guess, I was tired at the time. This was...

Can You Perform Distortion With Masters Decks?

In fact, I never spent one living moment of my life at Ellusionist. Just wanted to make that clear. I probably have a user there, but I never posted nor read.

Can You Perform Distortion With Masters Decks?

Know what I love with this place? That people constantly keep repeating the same, which is very assuring and helpful. However, I hate it when the first person to reply to a thread immediately confirms / tells you what to do, and the thread is buried. We're missing all the people to repeat...

Your worst screw-ups - share your stories here!

They sure are underrated, that's for sure. Derren Brown uses them? And if you know who he is, and have seen something from him, you also know he has sleight of hand skills far beyond the average card magician today. I don't personally use them, but I guess that is simply because I don't have...

    Jackson5 performed by Chris

Yeah man, smooth, you should enter the Dan and Dave contest. I bet you could win if you got someone awesome to film and possibly edit for you.

    Who's the guy...

Haha, cardmagic, didn't you ever see the FISM video? We hung out with Ricky a few days there, had a few sessions etc.. He's truly insane with cards.

    Magicians' Vocabulary

I would actually define pass/shift as a move that allows you to transpose two halves of the deck with a break held between. I would also add "Erdnase" or "Expert" as a reference to the book. Expert At The Card Table, as they call it nowadays. I've heard people call it both. Allan.
