No one's stopping you from doing what you like, it's just advice to help you improve and perhaps become an inspiration to some. Create some of your own flourishes that maybe are not constantly pivoting around fingers. Use a thumb cut, or a one card twirl or anything that brings something new to...
Seems like someone is a TF subscriber...:p Venomfang is a tool, but I'll be here to debate you anytime about HTWW being in the same class as Venom :p But the truth is the circle jerking that goes on in the comment sections of those two are irrelevant, I'm sure if every single person said they...
Just because you perform something slow or fast doesn't make it good or bad, just perform however you want. Andrei's high speed combo's look just as good as Luka's and Brendan Conner's stuff and vice versa.
My advice would be to practice fanning and routining a lot. Buy the Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes. If you have a decent video player and a youtube downloader you should be able to download any video and slow it down to learn what you want. Just don't go video-taping yourself performing...
For three months that completely blew me away. You have a bright future. Originality is the way to go. My advice would be to practice smoothness and to diversify a bit.
Well, your thumb fan was pretty bad, a nice big round one is desireable, and just as a personal preference I like springs off the thumb more than the front fingers. That Jones Change was the most artistic I've seen though.
When he says black deck he means the back being black, and I think it would suck. I don't even want regular red or blue, how about teal, yellow, purple, green, dark blue, sky blue or anything creative for once...
I'll believe it when I see it. Just knowing the amount of Jerry Nuggets in circulation doesn't translate directly into a price either, it can just debunk the idea that these cards are rare
That's ********. Someone who wants to use Jerry's as a serious investment might seek out these $30...
I don't buy that in this case, since there is nothing to compare prices of Jerry Nuggets to. Surely you think they're worth more than the $1 they used to be sold for purely on the fact that they are discontinued. How much more is decided by the buyers, and all the buyers have to go on is what...
There's a huge difference between liking the way cards handle and thinking that the cards make you better...
If the person buying them thinks they're worth $50, then yes I do.
Then you shouldn't be backing up your argument with the "fact" 95% of people would find Jerry Nugget's ugly, now...
No, the reason some people say they are thick is because they don't have enough cards to compare them to. In reality they are extremely thin, and some people perfer that. The same reason why some people think thick cards are good. If this is the result of marketing, who's marketing Jerry's? Most...
