    Busking Magic and Juggling

idea Sounds like you need more of a stage production type trick in a street location to me. An easily transportable and fairly cheap act(for stage magic) is the metamorphosis human transposition. It only cost me about $130 bucks to add it to my show on the Riverwalk in OKC. Both of you would...

Third Degree Burn... Burn yourself without pain

great review. I have both third degree burn and branded and branded is by far more practical. There's no pocket work for branded. With third degree burn your hand has to be in your pocket for a portion of time which is slightly unnatural. Branded, the gimmick is made to be right in front of your...

    Digital Dissolve Review: 5 Stars

Yes, it is a little pricier than your average magic trick, and no, the concept itself isn't that original, but the handling for the copper/silver transposition that BJ Bueno created is phenomenally baffling for your audience. The gimmick itself is beautiful, I've heard some people that have had...

    This Control

maybe It looks like the Zarrow Shuffle. It looks the same to me. You can find it at http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=320. Tell me if you think it's the same. I'm fairly certain. Hope this helps. Zack

    WH: Signature Series Trilogy

Hey, I know "Thread," is going to be released later this year and that there has already been a thread on it, no pun intended, but I just received WH's newsletter and saw on his new website that "Thread," is Vol. 1 of the Wayne Houchin Signature Series Trilogy. I was just wondering if anybody...

    Exile performed by D

You guys are all ridiculous. We're all copying the magicians that we like by doing the tricks and flourishes that they perform. Come one, quit acting like you're not, just because you throw a little of your personality into it. It's just a black and white vid. That's it, I'm sure Daniel Madison...

    Thoughts : Making Gaff Cards

sank me Jay Sankey has some pretty clever ideas in "Revolutionary Card Magic" the dvd. It isn't exactly cheap, but you will use a lot of the material. I use 3 of his gaffs off that dvd in one deck and it works and transitions phenomenally. Very good reactions! Zack

Panic, routine? (Also some thoughts on buying)

Panic If you can't find a way to routine "Panic," then chances are you don't do card magic. Panic was destined to be a card set opener. You start off with panic, transpose the deck with the 4 kings, then pull the full deck out your back pocket and go right into your card set. It sounds like...

    Playing with Ideas

nice! I'm not really into flourishing, but that was pretty nice. Unlike the other person, I didn't think it was sloppy at all. Sometimes, people just don't want to give another person credit if they're not well-known or if they're below a certain age group. I think it's pretty nice. I think...

    theory11 roundtable discussion : b.Smith + Dan White

Questions Dan White: What is your psychology when performing magic? B. Smith: What is your favorite effect? Dan White: What is David Blaine's favorite magic effect? (or favorite kind of magic to perform). B. Smith: What performer has most influenced the way you create magic? Thanks, Zack
