    Name or source?

Basically the die is gimmicked you can buy a set from Alakazam either by themselves or with a DVD called no chance.

    Question about published material.

There is a huge difference between legal and ethical, you can quote parts of the article. If you wanted to quote the entire article I would ask permission. If he have you a positive review they will more than likely let you use it simply just write an email asking for permission.

    Books on misdirection

The books of wonder are some of the best books on magic period. Magic by misdirection

    Rapture

You are a little dirty, but you can easily preform many other tricks with the gimmick in the deck. It is also quite easy to ditch the gimmicks with a simple move.

Why Women Are Attracted To Magic

I hate every time this topic comes up, yes magic have a few proven traits which women find attractive but it it's only for a moment. If you want to really impress a female with something within, the magic community learn to read palms. Women like experiences and by being unique (magician)...

What do you consider a "Holy Grail"?

Why would you want to do a perfect invisible anti-Faro. The only 'practical' (and I use that term very loosely) use for the application for the anti-faro is as a demonstration of unshuffling the deck in a triumph routine

    INSANE by Andy Nyman

I don't have insane, nor would I ever buy the effect. I do have a lot of Andy Nymans work and have a fairly good idea how it works. To me this effect is classic Nyman in the sense that it has perfected all the little details to make the handling as clean as possible, however at the same time...

    INSANE by Andy Nyman

Insane is fine how it is, the strength of the effect is the build up that you can predict seemingly unpredictable events. If you wanted to you could add a blank deck. Ultimately it would not change anything in the overall effect it could strengthen this idea.

    Insane by Andy Nyman

I dont think I would be a problem having the cards dealt face up. Personally I like having the cards face down for many reasons

    Insane by Andy Nyman

Obviously nobody has the effect yet, I believe the selected card is quite dirty. Matthew Mello's ACAAN on his Modern Mentalism DVD I assume is fairly similar but you are left clean at the reveal. The handling of Insane is super clean and fir this reason I believe it would be better suited for a...

    How You Name Your Effect's

I have never released anything, and I am not sure if I will ever. So basically my effects are called my variation on ..... .

    Summer Magic challenge

While I can understand why you are doing this however creating a trick a day is tough and for the most part useless. I would suggest looking at Ineski's 1 fully polished performance ready trick a week as a more realistic expectation. Over the summer that will give you 10-12 pieces which will...

    Thoughts?

I agree with what has been said before about the the prediction. Essentially the effect you are doing is a card to impossible location, What I would do is mark the card in some way (usually by tearing the corner) and have the a duplicate with matching corner scrunch up within the paper. I am...

What magic items do you carry

I have started to make a conscience effort to not carry cards with me, so now I carry a pen and a few billets. I also carry a Ring Flight Revolution just because it has been on my key ring for 3 years.

    Kind of annoying spectators

It has been said many times that if the audience knows you did something it is just as bad as if they know what you did. And this spectator feels that they saw something and you should have cut it off there, not the effect but the done something to nullify the move you did. In your situation if...

    Arguing With Spectators

Working in a few let's say terrible bars I have been in many fights (as a bar tender as well as a magician) mainly from cutting people off (stopping service) and escorting people off the property. I have been in a few verbal arguments with hecklers both in bars and when I have been busking...

    (Don't) Stop (Believin')

Overall I like the effect and your handling is quite nice there are two things I would change if i was to perform your handling. Firstly I don't like that business where you move the red and blue cards behind each other. It gives the audience a moment when the deception could have happened. I...

    tricks on the spot

There a few things I will do if I am playing with my deck and someone asks to see something. More often than not I will do my handling of the classic control the card to the top DL and change it into the selection. Then if they want to see something else I will usually try something that I am...

    New Sandwich Method!

Whilst I can appreciate the method, and whilst it is not new it is not the normal approach to the sandwich plot. if you wasn't me to be brutally honest I hated the routine. Please don't take this personally but sometimes you need to look at what you don't like about an effect to make it...

    Spoon bending

I would start by picking up pk silverware by Gerry and Banachek. It is in my opinion the best starting point, not just for the technique but also the psychology of bending.
