Guide to Wallets for Magicians and Mentalists!

Hey Erik, just one quick question with the peek's on the F1 Nitro is one of them the SUC peek, and can it be used for pocket writing to load a business card into a sealed compartment. Cheers

I got 'Worker of the Week' on the WPR!

Congrats Jeff, I like the ending much more now than the earlier versions you posted on YouTube.

    Favourite Spectator Involvement Tricks

I meant use the premise of the effect with a stacked deck. This makes it much easier to determine both cards and means you dont have to run through the deck twice.

    The Russian Roulette...

I don't feel that you directly need to eliminate them, as you pointed out the audience knows that they are there. All you have to do is give some from of 'process' as to how you are eliminating them and the audience will believe it. I have mind movie'd the presentation if you would like to...

    The Russian Roulette...

I should preface this by stating that I hate the Russian Roulette as a plot, for reasons I will happily go into if you wish. You said you were going from magic to mentalism to geek magic all in once show? How long is your show, because ultimately going through these three disciplines each one...

    Favourite Spectator Involvement Tricks

Out of this world Mnemonicosis is also great. Diplopia I feel is more a trick for magician's as they will appreciate the fair nature of the effect more than laymen. If we were to combine the presentation with a memorised deck I would feel a lot different.

    EMC DVD Set...

Basically you pay to watch the streaming video live, then a few months later they send you the DVD's for free. The other alternative is to just buy the DVD's when they come out at your local magic shop.

    Book test resources

Firstly is there a reason you are opposed to riffling the pages because in all my years I still believe it is one of the cleanest methods for selecting a random page. Before I go into to detail with methods and places to look what is the effect you wish to perform (from the audiences view).

    Abnormal Behaviour - Ran Pink

As some of you may know I only write reviews for things I truly believe in and this product is no exception. This is a short and sweet ebook with three card routines. Whilst I know cards and mentalism do not mix in some peoples eyes this book is pure gold for those who like to use cards in...

    Best opening card effect

Its what feels right for you, are you going to go up to a spectator with cards in hand or are you going to introduce yourself properly first. I mean if you go up to someone introduce yourself as a magician and then you need to remove the cards and go from there. This complete introduction is...

    Best Levitation Effect

Hey Pete I am always willing to lend a hand when it comes to giving advice because it also helps me. And tannoy for taking my advice onboard, I don't always agree with the advice I recurve but I always take it on board. I understand you enjoy this effect but sometimes you should not perform...

How to return to original order?

You are right the top half odd the deck is stacked, however a simple jog shuffle would take that out of the spectators mind.

    Best Levitation Effect

As far as technicalities are concerned this is either PK or an animation not a levitation. Whilst the effect itself is quite strong I don't think your handling of the presentation does the effect justice and I have seen this effect many times performed by yourself. Firstly the effect is too...

    ANTHOLOGY by D+M

I am pretty sure that Daniel Madison uses e-Junkie (at least he did in the past). He gave it a download limit (5 in the past) and a time frame (120 hours).

    Psychological Forces?

I am a huge fan of this idea, more so on an intellectual level more so than performing the effect. Docc Hilford was (to my knowledge the first) person to create the effect and his is still one of the best. Derren has a few in his books based on a similar ideas to Docc's and his invisible deal...

Laws against street performing in Spain?

I would personally consult the local councils they would be able to to give a much much better answer than anyone here.

    Name of this effect

I do not know the effect however a good billet switch would work (using the torn centre as a billet).

What Do You Use A Double Backer For?

Plus Vernon openly placed the card second from the top rather than hinting that it could be in the middle of the deck.

    Mnemonic

Interestingly enough my favourite work to do around the concept of a stacked deck actually uses a complete and shuffled deck. (Memory Jumble from Mnemonica, with a few variations for those playing at home.)
