    True, they use rubber bands, but from what I see none of Dan's effects look anything like Danny's. They have the same premise, but Dan's seem to be a bit different. There is a "gimmick" involved, but I emphasize the quotes. Technically it's not a gimmick. David

    Benttouchslink all the way. It has 2 excellent effects, and it's Danny G. You can't go wrong with the DG. No, but it doesn't need to be. You borrow the coin from the spectator. That is just as strong as a signature in a layman's mind. David

    I do not recommend Houdini's if you are a real magician. It's more of a shop for laymen. They only sell tricks that are marketed towards beginners and those not familiar with magic. It's mainly there as a tourist attraction. David

    Misdirections in SF is a great shop. In Carmichael, near Sacramento, there is Grand Illusions. It's probably the best and most friendly magic shop in the area. I would highly recommend making the trip there. David

    All of the DGP DVDs are amazing. Vol. 1 is pretty good. Rubbermade is not completely impromptu, although the first 2 phases are. Overall I think Vol. 1 is the least entertaining of all of them.     If you don't want to shell out for a new webcam, and you have a normal camera that you use to film, you can use that. Plug it into your computer using the Firewire or USB cord. Under setting go to Video and scroll through the choices. Try each one until you get a live feed going. David
