 I...didn't...do...that...
Well, I actually just played the video at normal speed and since he tells you that it's false, then you can sort of figure it out if you have done some flourishes before.
It'd be good for people who don't do flourishes, but I see no point why I should...
I didn't mean that it was made by Ellusionist, I meant that there's no point in making it ridiculously over-visual when just an ordinary ace assembly would have the exact same impact.
You're...kidding me right?
A lot of this stuff is very new, just because he wants to make variations on some really fresh concepts doesn't mean that the whole thing is boring.
This is unbelieveably stupid.
There are millions of ace assemblies out there. Pick up Expert Card Technique or RRTCM and you will find many ace assemblies that maybe aren't as visual and E-hype as dream of aces, but are impromptu and that actually use sleights. Think about it, dream of aces...
After literally setting aside two hours to practice this and outs for it when I get it wrong, I can assure you that this is a very satisfying move to get down well.
Sorry, I meant to post another video, but I was watching that rubik's cube video...
I really really want to perform for a complete stranger, but I've never seemed to get the right situation.
The le paul pass looks like a complete waste of money. It's very easy to figure out this pass even if you don't know what a bluff pass is.
And if you do know what a bluff pass is, then this is very simple.
www.magic.org has free worldwide shipping on orders over 40$, but I'm not too sure if they have porper card clip.
Fun fact:
My friend thought that I said Joe Porker card clip, and he asked, "Porker? What type of a last name is that?"...okay, that wasn't that funny...
Oh crud. I made a cut that uses the exact same grip, and pretty much the exact same left handed second finger push up motion. Thankfully the cut is different, but now I can't claim it's completely original.. :(
Oh well, it was going to happen anyway.
Dude! You should be! He has a SIGNED ULTRAGAFF !!! This means that he can go and perform visual stunning hardhitting magic better than I can without any sleights at all, he's just going to watch the dvd and then go out onto the streets and show random strangers that he truly is the next Criss...
I just read 1 in 9, and it's a pretty good trick, and it uses the mexican turnover, which is the most unjustified moves I know, and so I don't perform it. Now I have a reason for using a card to turn over other cards.
- Richard's one card twirl
- Sybil
- Revolution
- Thumb roll (for the win!!!)
- Cylinder
Yes, I know thumb roll and cylinder aren't as popular as say sybil, but you could be suprised at what you can do to flourishes by adding a cylinder into them.
