    Do effects YOU ALREADY KNOW. Trust me, only use the ones you could do in your sleep and are confident in. Also, think about what plays on a stage and what doesnt. (card effects maybe not so much, depending on the size of the stage...)

    Best Follow Up Trick

    I'd recommend 'Flamin Aces' I'm pretty sure thats the name. Basically 4 piles are shuffled up and the top for cards are the aces. It sounds lame but its amazing.

    I see this to often; A magician superbly handles the cards and has great patter, then at the last moment, when they are revealing the spectators card, the flop. The card is just thrown on the table. No caress at all. When revealing someones card it should be slow deliberate movements. Draw...

    REF4M - A review I feel strongly about

    I also got into magic because of a card a magician let me keep when I was ten. I got his phone number and he helped me with my 'act' so I could do magic at a little table during a music festival a year later. I made almost 800 bucks. So, judging by that, I'd say it is important.
