    My Embarrassing Concern.......

    I make sure to SLOW DOWN. I tend to go a bit fast, and I have to consciously make an effort to keep my patter slow. If you slow down and make every word a deliberate phrase, like Mr. Everhart said. Keep bashing away at it and you'll be fine!

    I'm not sure what you mean by the $1 silver deal. But Coin bite went over fairly well as I had some quarters handed out and told the kids to try and break them with their hands. I said I was so strong I could bite it in half. I did coinbite and they were floored.

    Not that much, but I have performed at a few birthday parties with around 20 or so kids (Same as he is being offered) and it was pretty awesome. I did some sponge ball, card transpos, ACRs, a few coin things (coin bite) and ended with a bill through dollar. Very, very, very true.

    I'd take the gig. I'm 14 and I would definitely take that opportunity. Stage magic is not that different from close up, if you'd believe it.

    OVer the course of doing magic for about 2 years I have learned and perfected quite a few illusions. I make many effects my 'own' and invent new patter or ways of explaining the 'story' of the trick. But I have only ever created a whole new effect once. How much do you guys make new things...

    I think you *might* be jumping to conclusions. The sentinals are similar but they are mostly lines. This is filled in. Also we dont know the back design yet. :)

    Thats basically what I do :P I rarely get this. Only when performing for people my age ( 14 ish ) that I get some pretty bad hecklers. When my performance is flawless, however, I dont get it. Thanks for the advice!
