Grasshopper effect/wouldn't mind some constructive crit...

OK, thanks, but anything new to add? I've already discussed these points. As for the vanish and reveal being obvious... If that were true, then surely no amount of finesse would help... I don't think they're obvious subterfuges... countless performances for spectators, and not one complaint... I...

Grasshopper effect/wouldn't mind some constructive crit...

Good advice dude thanks! I'll give it a go. That was the moment I was least happy with actually, I wish filming a quick clip of a trick worked the same way performing for a human does, haha. I'm going to refilm this week after playing with the various advic I've been given, see what I can do :)...

    Complete Coin Vanishes

In terms of best, are we saying what looks best as a vanish or works best as a piece of magic? I like ditching under my watch- start with a REAL good retention vanish, then ditch. It's a complete vanish, but the coin can also be retrieved very easily for a reproduction. Lafferty

Grasshopper effect/wouldn't mind some constructive crit...

I don't do too much real world performance anymore, I devolved to amateur status around a year ago, ha, and I imagine that's why it seems a little lacking. But yes, I do still try to frame my stuff, even when just doing stuff casually. When I refilm (Probably be up by the end of the week), i'll...

Corner DVD set by G and SM Productionz

I think it's your own homophobia and narrow-mindedness that makes you uncomfortable, bro.

Grasshopper effect/wouldn't mind some constructive crit...

Cheers! Yeah, for the CC, I was aware of the fact that I was at a bad angle, and so overcompensated when attempting to cover it. The fumbling after the jog is covered in presentation yes, the line is 'Take into account, it doesn't matter whereabouts your card is, as I'm leaving it hanging out...

Grasshopper effect/wouldn't mind some constructive crit...

This is Jeff Goldeneye, a little something I came up with while playing with Paul Harris' Grasshopper. Basically, a card teleportation. No words as I'm pretty proud of the presentation I've got for it and would prefer to keep it under wraps right now, haha. All advice/criticism welcomed...

    The Pass

I agree with the above- technically good, but far from invisible with the current cover. Try to lose the 'jiggling hands', it's a real problem. Lafferty

This makes me want to quit.

^^ Just as an aside, you could call me a move monkey and I'd give this a bad review. Lets not generalise the move monkeys, some of us strive to collect moves that actually work :) Lafferty

Garett Thomas' "Mash Pack" vs. Justin Millers's "Freedom Pack"

Just watched the demo for Mash Pack, doesn't look like TOO much palming... It looks fine to me. Plus, moments where the box visually vanishes as the deck is spread on the table and stuff... Looks nice. I like the subtle touches in Freedom pack, being able to show the front edge of the deck...

Whats you favorite count??? What about the kiss count.

Looks like somebodies posted a tutorial on Boris Wild's move to me. Lame stuff. Lafferty

what is your favourite trick to do ?

When I started doing magic around 11 years ago, I dropped into pretty heavy sleight of hand quite quickly (Thanks to the stocks at my local library, and the bricks and mortar shop in my city). I did a lot of moves from very early on. However. I also learned ONE self working trick. I never...

    MY PC1 Coin&Pen Routine

You say you came up with some original moves to fix problems- May I ask what the problems were? I ask because I perform a few pen and coin routines and I'd say 95% of the moves or choreography I use is other creators work and I'd say the moves I'm used to are a lot less... conspicuous. I'm all...

David Williamson vid, what is this move?

Cheers for the tip man! It seems like something that a million people would have come up with independently, I'll just play around with what I can make out. Thanks again! Lafferty

David Williamson vid, what is this move?

The Srechko move isn't that difficult technically, but the 'get ready' if you will is difficult to get as smooth and seamless as Dave does it. I believe Lee Asher's handling is quite startling too. I just really like the look of the spin out, it just looks like a nice in the hands alternative to...

David Williamson vid, what is this move?

Yep, that's the Srechko pop out, it's taught in the context of a floating deck effect in AoA, It uses the whole deck. Of course, if you want to get into it like David does in this video, you'll have to practice for a long time. I've been doing it for years now and mine is still nowhere near as...
