It usually needs to be uploaded after the start of the contest but for what it is work I thought that was very well done.

    Impressing Girls (I need help!)

Wayne Houchin's "The Art of Magic DVD. Fantastic DVD. Great for anyone new to magic since it spends as much time discussing performance theory as teaching tricks.

    Mentalism & stuff...

I can't speak to the specifics on that. I know of Acidus Novus 2nd hand from another DVD so I can't even claim expertise in that. I can say that , from what I know of it, I personally prefer Bush's peek from "Peek Encores." So you may want to explore that resource as another possibility.

    Impressing Girls (I need help!)

The evolution of same sex partnering is one of the most complex in evolutionary psychology, let alone attention getting strategies within that subset. If you have an interest in that I would recommend anything by Frans deWaal. His work with Bonobos did a lot to educate people on the broad range...

    Impressing Girls (I need help!)

That's the quote to take away from all this. If you guys are actually interested in learning a bit about the science of mating strategies I would recommend a course on evolutionary Psychology. If you are not a college type you might check out a few books such as, "The Evolution of Cooperation"...

    Impressing Girls (I need help!)

LOL...where did you learn that the Disney channel? Yes my advice was meant to be tongue and cheek but it is scientifically more accurate than the old yarn about "personality." Females are generally attracted to resource and resource holding potential. That means, guys who have "the stuff" and...

    Credits for a move.

I know exactly the peek you are talking about. Luke Jermay taught it in a PMM lecture series I took years ago. Unfortunatly....I can't remember who he credited it to. It is very similar to a peek taught on Gazzo's tossed out deck DVD. I do have that lying around but am too lazy to look it up...

    Jason England Interview

You are lucky to have that kind of access! I could think about 100 other questions I would like to ask him. Indeed, this interview created even more questions I would like to ask. Fortunately he is very good at answering questions that pop up on the forums here. He is very generous with his time.

    Jason England Interview

LOL...I know! I was in just about to correct my mistake before someone caught me! Oh well:o To late! I never tried that technique to determine if a deck is a trad cut. You mind if I add that bit of knowledge?

    Foundations: By Jason England

I have been interested in gambling expose' style magic since I began to seriously study card magic. I soaked up what I could of Erdnase and Expert Card Technique, watched videos of some of the greats, from Ackerman, to Forte, to Ortiz, yet for all the excellence of those resources I found much...

How to Use a Card Clip?

 Usually you just bend out the clip a bit if it is a metal one. I don't know if that can be done with a carbon clip?

Who is your favorite magician? card man?

Overall I would have to say Lee Asher. His flashier effects really fit my style and his more subtle sleights are just so clever! For gambling magic I will have to agree that Jason England is hard to beat. Not that there are not a lot of other great gambling gurus still around but his teaching...

    Free trick! (gasp)

The Morgan Strebbler effect was "Sticky" which is an awesome effect. Not quite as good as Peter Turner's version of that plot but still really good if you are unaware of the principle. but I do agree that it gets like "noise." But the truth is, releasing good magic is just good business. Repeat...

    The V-Tech Steal

While I generally agree with you in that there are a lot of people out there who re-invent the wheel merely for the sake of doing so I disagree with your assessment of this particular technique. This is more than just another steal. The technique he seems to be working on both steals a card from...
