trilogy and andthensome are both great. You learn a lot of good effects and floursihes, but they show you so many different moves that can help you make your own material.

    Always a Magician

Something I find somewhat funny about being a magician is that throughout my day, I am a magician and ready to perform. Everywhere I go I have a deck of cards, I have a few gaffs or gimmicks with me, I'm ready to do a coin vanish, I own a fire wallet, etc. At any time of my day, I'm ready and...

    Someone hands you a dollar...

In Canada we don't have dollar bills, only 1 and 2 dollar coins. I've never had someone hand me a five dollar bill or anything like that because, I think, no one would trust you with that much money... It's always coins sent my way.

What's the video for? What kind of class? It depends what you're trying to display in the vid.

Magic Biggest Secret's Finally Revealed a good thing?

Is it beneficial, yes... but is it right, I don't know. They weren't his tricks and he did not create them and at the end he talks about how he will be performing new illusions. Do you think he'd appreciate someone else going out and revealing all of his new illusions?

Torn & Restored Card - Seamless

It's not on sale anymore... Glenn was selling a PDF before, but he stopped , I guess keeping it to himself for now. He's friends with a local shop I go to and the owner produced a DVD for one of his other tricks and I always hoped they'd do this one too.

Torn & Restored Card - Seamless

I just saw Glenn West perform this last night and every time I see it done it floors me and thought I'd share a video of it with you guys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8BsT1BZEGU

What is the name of this one trick?

I think Oz Perlman's Hitman is kind of like that.

    Stage Performance

Hey everyone... I'm about to do a short set on stage for the first time. I usually just do stuff on the street and for small groups of like 1 - 10 people at most and I'm doing this show for maybe a hundred people or so. I'm not really sure, could be more, could be less, but it's definitely...

    What is real magic?

The video was kind of dull... With a topic like real magic it seemed like you could have gotten a lot more entertainment value in it. The sankey clips were kind of odd... The first one was kind of hard to follow and just so brief. Your coin production was good though and the Kenner clip was...

    Bicycle Fashion Back Playing Cards

I'm not big on these cards, personally. I'd rather just get normal bikes... but for the money, if you think they look cool, then I guess they're worth it.

Saturday Night Contest :: d+M roundtable discussion

Change has been a creation of yours that's been buzzing in the magic world for almost two years now. Do you ever plan on releasing and teaching it? Or is it something you want to hold on to?

Saturday Night Contest :: d+M roundtable discussion

You're both a great magician as well as flourisher. Do you consider the two forms separate art forms or do you think of Flourishing as a way to accentuate your magic?

    Card Design

I don't know either... I like the middle part that looks like Wolverine's claws, but the rest is kind of weird and dull. It's not really eye catching and I don't like that it's borderless. I think if the colours were more solid it would look better opposed to all the shades of grey.

    Redline Gimmick

It's definitely worth getting... not difficult to make, it's very practical, and gets great reactions. I don't know anything about Exile, but the gimmick for red line was definitely the easier gimmick I ever had to create so it must be easier than Xile.

Which cards are cheap and last the most?

I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I heard that Alladin's are cheap in India. Maybe you should look for those. I've never used them before, but I've only heard good things.

    Control

I love it... The Effect is simple, clean and safe which is awesome, but what makes the DVD a worthy purchase is how in depth it is with background of the trick, different ways to perform it, and as if the case with all W:H dvds, it's entertaining. So I strongly suggest picking it up... I don't...

    Invisible Palm voting now open!

I agree... James' movements were better, but I personally do not enjoy The Invisible Palm without patter. To people who are well-versed in magic, they understand this routine because they've probably seen it before, but it's not a self-explanatory routine like an ACR and I really believe that...

    Have you seen this man?

I don't know about the States, but here in Canada, laymen don't really know anyone other than the big magicians - Copperfield, Penn & Teller, Angel - and I doubt a lot of lay people know Garcia or Houchin... so I'm guessing that Brown would be in the same boat that people outside of magic...
