    Best opener?

    Card Force

If your force is convincing, I suggest you use it twice. If two people get to choose a card, why wouldn't they choose them the same way ? Switching methods might just get one of them to think "hey, why don't you spread the deck for me as you did for the other guy ?". Or maybe that's just me...

    Do That Again!

In his book "Strong Magic", Darwin Ortiz states that an audience member asking to see the same trick again is an audience member that wasn't paying attention. that is to say, "you caught me because I wasn't really watching". I think he has a point here, so I would get along with his advice ...

Connected - Card to spectator's wallet by Peter Harrison

Well, in fact he teaches you a way on the PDF to make this trick possible with a signed card. In fact, Peter says that 60% of the time, he performs "Connected" with a signed card.

Where to learn crucial card sleights

Okay, my mistake ! That's not the classic pass, but it's still a very good pass, invisible (if you use his advices), and you can really use it in the "Real wooooorld" (spooky music playing). Since I learned from this DVd, I've NEVER been caught doing the pass (unlike before). And he doesn't...

Where to learn crucial card sleights

Hi everyone ! I've been wanting to start this thread quite a while ago now, but never found the time to...Anyway, here it is ! Like most of us I think, I've first started magic by doing self-working card tricks. Very soon I've been wanting to learn sleight of hand magic, and some of the...

    Nowhere Pass

In fact, you can see it performed in the preview video, where he "looses" the card somewhere halfway into the deck. Look closer !

    Blowing a trick

If the effect uses predictions, you can always say if it goes wrong : "...once again proving that predicting the future is impossible. " And then maybe explain that a prediction can only be accurate if it's based on very specific points, like just one card for example. And then use your...

True Astonishments 9 DVD Set by Paul Harris

I've never written this anywhere before, and I don't think I'll ever write this again... Best purchase I've ever made.

    True Astonishment Tricks?

I completely disagree with what has just been said. On the contrary, I found the preview amazing, because that is just what magic is about : astonishment. You see people scream, drop their jaws in disbelief, people that can do nothing but laugh, not because it's funny, but because that's the...

    ReinCARDnation

Hi guys ! I just came across this DVD from magic makers at my local magicshop, and the promo text seemed too good to be true : everything examinable at the beginning and at the end, you can show the half card front and back during the restoration, only one card used... I already bought the...

Thunderbird by L. Asher OR Autograph by J. Miller?

I think I didn't express myself clearly ; I don't blame Autographs for not being a magician fooler, I just say that as it's not a magician fooler, you might be able to understand how it works on your own, or at least come up with a method that achieves the same effect. That's all.
