    How do you answer...

Yeah, I do card magic as well. When I first started I was a pure flourisher, but now I've moved on to the Trilogy, Dangerous, etc.... I know what you mean. That's one of the many reasons I decided to do card magic as well. Edit: Wikipedia is for nerds. WAHAHAHAHA

    Flashed

I tell the audience that I messed up to build tension. Then I move on.

    Tivo 2.0 variation

Very well done, it's good to see the 8 actually in the middle instead of just drawn outl.

    Next step?

You definitely have a point there. Although flourishing is a great way to be creative...after seeing the umpteenth sybil variation or swing cut sequence I guess I'm just jaded. I'm looking for originality.

    Practice makes perfect...

Charliers while typing = card addiction. Card addiction = Flourishers Anonymous. (aka rehab, just like britney)

    How do you answer...

Tell them it's a secret. After all, you are a magician, and magicians have secrets, right? That, or tell them you learned it from Wikipedia.

    Tivo 2.0

better than mine, especially liked the change little fishy at the end though

    Next step?

Don't create your own stuff until you learn sybils, one handed cuts, tornado, flipbacks, etc...otherwise you'll be one of those annoying youtube n00bs who think they can perform and teach XCM even though they can't even do a charlier.

    Practice makes perfect...

    Like doing charliers while typing.

Which cards are cheap and last the most?

You probably want to get a porper as well. Humidity kills cards.

    Controls

I love this control. It's so deceptive and pretty useful too. The DD control is really hard though....and I saw it the first time I watched Swiss made.

w00t! never thought someone would get so angry about 52 colored slips of thin cardboard....

    Breaking The Ice

Yeah, that also works for me. People introduce my card tricks for me. It's convenient and easy. Wow...that sounds reaaaaallly awkward.

    Ping pong ball magic?

ah I see. Does the trick use shells? How many does it use (if it does)?
  16. jazzhands1

    Card Control [trick]

Ah, I wish I could do this trick. Does it require a set up?

    Favorite color change?

ego, shapeshifter, duck change I wish I knew the Carolina click change though.

    Any good books?

Ah, I wish I had the card magic of lepaul.... What I would recommend (that I have): D+M Identity or Collateral D&D lecture notes Lee Asher products Smooth Operations Card College 1-5 (depending on your level)

    Practice

ok dude if i were a beginner heres what I would do: 1. Learn. 2. Practice & Perfect. 3. Perform. 4. Refine/Edit. 5. Learn some more. I would have included more but you only wanted 5... Let me just say that I am currently the only person that endorses fanning cream; nevertheless...

    Practice

Don't know if you've heard of fanning cream but it looks like this: Without the crust of course. The bananas are there for dramatic effect. I think.
