Royal Road to Card Magic dvds.
Or you can google search "Card sleights dvd"...
Yeah, I do card magic as well. When I first started I was a pure flourisher, but now I've moved on to the Trilogy, Dangerous, etc....
I know what you mean. That's one of the many reasons I decided to do card magic as well.
Edit: Wikipedia is for nerds. WAHAHAHAHA
You definitely have a point there.
Although flourishing is a great way to be creative...after seeing the umpteenth sybil variation or swing cut sequence I guess I'm just jaded. I'm looking for originality.
Don't create your own stuff until you learn sybils, one handed cuts, tornado, flipbacks, etc...otherwise you'll be one of those annoying youtube n00bs who think they can perform and teach XCM even though they can't even do a charlier.
I love this control. It's so deceptive and pretty useful too.
The DD control is really hard though....and I saw it the first time I watched Swiss made.
Ah, I wish I had the card magic of lepaul....
What I would recommend (that I have):
D+M Identity or Collateral
D&D lecture notes
Lee Asher products
Smooth Operations
Card College 1-5 (depending on your level)
ok dude if i were a beginner heres what I would do:
1. Learn.
2. Practice & Perfect.
3. Perform.
4. Refine/Edit.
5. Learn some more.
I would have included more but you only wanted 5...
Let me just say that I am currently the only person that endorses fanning cream; nevertheless...
