I am new here but I wanted to say hello before I launch into my question. This is one of the more informative forums I have come across and the community here is really solid.
Now or my question. I have been working though The Royal Road and I have some issues with the Riffle Shuffle trick An Intuition for Cards. Does anyone else find this effect hit or miss? I seem to get more than one card out of order which makes it misleading when I go to find the one which was chosen and replaced... Perhaps I am doing it wrong but I usually allow the spectator to riffle the deck twice. Any suggestions or experiences?
