There is something special about the routine above, but I can't quite tip what it is yet.

No Gimmicks.
Borrowed, Shuffled Deck.
Original Routine.

In the meantime, I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions and ideas and other ego-raising compliments about it.

Thanks for taking the time!

Nice routine man - simple and direct, nice patter, logical effect, very nice. Especially with the spectator shuffled deck, its great to have that 4 of a kind ending.

Great stuff, and a nice, relaxed and engaging performing style on top of it all.
Consider your ego raised!
David.

Frank! MAD PROPS to you. I was looking through it, and it was nearing the end and I was thinking to myself: "yet another one of these..." And then the flipping of the 2's just hit me in the face like when I try to do a half pipe jump on a snowboard!

Astoundingly Awesome! i think ive got the method down, but if this is your own creation...Mad props.

Thanks for taking the time to not only watch, but also comment.

I'm really glad you both enjoyed it. It is original, and I've been using it for about 3 years now.

There's something special (at least to me) about that routine, but I'm not quite ready to tip it yet.

Thanks again for the kind words.

I am a sucker for sandwiches; a complete and utter sucker. I really like this routine, simple to follow with a strong kicker at the end. Your sleights were good and your patter wasn't simply a narrative, it engaged me. :)

You say you've been using it for 3 years - it shows, in a good way. I like how simple it is, but still just as strong, very good job.

I'm intrigued as to what that special thing is though... Still, nice job again man, thanks for sharing the video with us. :)

Thank all of you for your kind words and of course the time you took out of your day to watch it.

(I say that and I'm sure the majority of you spend 26 hours a day (Yes...A DAY) (And yes, you can put parenthesis inside of parenthesis...twice) on Theory 11 but still....Thank you.)

---

Sean, the majority of my original effects always end up being a sandwich routine or a transposition...

Except for one effect that ended up as a Two Selection, Single Sandwich, Transpo.

But I really appreciate the compliment on the patter. For the longest time I had no motivation for the change/production at the end, and then one day while performing it the line just jumped out of my mouth. It's stuck ever since...

---

Random, Maybe it's not the card trick, but my undeniable sex appeal. :)

---

I got a comment on the video from YouTube user, Sinful, asking if he/she could use the routine. And well, if you're reading this, then yes, you may in fact "jack" the routine. Especially if you pick up the February issue of MAGIC Magazine...As that is where this routine will be featured, in the Talk About Tricks section by Joshua Jay.

I'm glad it's gotten good reviews from the Theory 11 forum members, as this seems to be the place where honesty isn't overrated.

Thanks again!

That's the one. And my variation of the 4for4.

Glad you liked it.

Thanks for letting me borrow your move.

And of course, thanks to everyone for the comments.

Haha first time I watched it, I wasn't really paying attention so I thought the deck vanished leaving the 4 2's.

Anyway, its still crazy. Nice video!
