what I mean is the **effect** is the same. not the method...

Are we to assume that you would quite happily take one existing method for an effect and not welcome any variation to method or technique in the least?

Because thats pretty close minded!

Oh, and by the way, Bob, great work so far man, really good! I'm gonna pick up the original Stigmatism booklet this week!

well yes and no, im not gonna argue but I think what papercraneproductions was doing was good - with wounded, flow, sleeping queen and now lit, BUT I think completely differant effects are better than variations on other effects, if it takes the whole effect in a whole new direction and uses moves you can use for other effects then okay, but unless it is differant (like its self working or something) then I dont see why they are realese it, well yes its probabbly for money, and they do need money like everyone does but I think realesing effects that are similar to other ones is not as good.

I agree though b.smith is a very good magician but I think that from wounded.

its kind of like wayne houchin-he realeses completely awsome effects and he doesnt "re-realese" something (well, control but control is impromputu so it builds on the pulse stop) and you might say ultra gaff but again its differant (kinda), so its really good what he does which is make original effects with out of the box thinking that can be used in real life.

im not trying to argue, im just saying I think that the company can do better.

The Effect of FLOW is similar to the old static water demonstration, albeit a lot better. The effect of sleeping queen is similar to an effect Sankey had with a gaffed card, albeit I'm pretty positive it is very different technically.

I am also a fan of Wayne's, I love his work, but your statement is ridiculous, when you then go on to mention two effects which are not entirely new effectual concepts. I'll also say, Stigmata was based on a Banachek idea...

I am not questioning anybodies integrity here, I'm simply pointing out that they were not entirely new ideas for effects.

But it doesn't matter, thats the thing... the effects are still good, and so totally warrant release!

Just my tuppence, obviously...

I guess it doesnt actually matter what I think, I dont know the history of magic so yes if I say anything (like I did) then your just gonna tell me stuff that you know but I dont.

I knew that banachek made stigmata but what I didnt know was when he made it.
I also knew about the sleeping queen thing, but its a differant mathod that can be used with other things instead of a gaff.

the effects are good? yes they are, im not saying their not, im saying they be done with other methods are horribly simple, whats the point of making the same effect if its harer, if it is very simple, or self working then go for it! but please dont realese stuff thats been done before and can be one so easily.

oh well.
