Back after months due to unforeseen circumstances

Hey all!

8 months ago was the last time I posted on here. Not because I've lost interest in magic, but due to some unseen circumstances.

In brief; I went traveling and performing magic around India. Came home to find that our house internet had been downgraded and the ISP had blocked everything to do with forums (Including a complete block of T11) and could not be changed. Between all this, my mother had been in intensive care and undergoing brain surgery, so I found it hard to make time to go to internet cafe's.

I liked to have thought that I was a fairly active member here and made contributions to the forum. Also, I've been getting emails and private messages asking where I've been. So yeah, just thought I'd post this to say I've finally resolved my net issues, I'm back for good and I've missed this place!

In between all of my life dramas, I've actually managed to get the ball rolling slowly with some projects, working with some people that you all love and some other cool things in the works.

All in all just glad to be back,

Lloyd.

Welcome back Lloyd, look around in each section and you will see a ton of new things here that have been released. You will also notice some new members here and a few of them are VERY knowledgeable guys who have been around the block. Don't be afraid to pick their brains.

Craig Browning and Benji are just two that come to my mind right now.

Welcome back, my friend. Hope all is well with you and yours, and that your mom is recovering smoothly. Sorry to hear about that, and I hope your experience performing in India was enlightening. Excited to have you back in the community.

Thanks everyone for all the good vibes sent my mums way! Hugely appreciated! Her final surgery is next month and seems like it's gonna go smoothly, fingers crossed!

I'm really glad that the forums haven't gone under and, instead, have continued to expand and progress. Good to see some new faces that are doing things the right way too, can't wait to get stuck in to some juice topics with them all.

Yeah JB, performing in India was mad. Bridging language barriers was a really good experience, sort of gave me some new tools and a better understanding of what it takes to make my magic more universal for my target audience. Also, learned what happens when you wake up on a beach with no clothes, no money and not in the town you last remember being in. (True story)

Cheers guys,

Lloyd

I keep hearing this too often. Day to day, I'm a pretty normal guy, 1 drop of alcohol and I commit social suicide. My Facebook holds the evidence. Fail.

Cheers guys,

Lloyd
