Though, talking one-on-one to Liam, I actually think he is a great bloke and indeed a good magic 'friend' I would tend to agree.
Liams magic is not my style of magic, though I would consider myself a 'cool' magician, I think his style probably takes that to the next level which is maybe a little bit to far.
But hey, hes doing well, so who are we to judge?

That's effectively saying I can't judge anyone making more money than me. What an absurd double standard.
Steerpike, by 'Doing well' I did not mean money wise. Im sure he would have a much lesser income than myself, nor most professional's on this site or others and it is a pretty terrible judge on quality.
What I mean, is that for the audiance he is attempting to attract, he seems to have caught the market quiet well.
Though it may not be a target either yourself nor I am after, it is what he is after.
I can totally see where you are coming from, and as I said I complete agree, he is able to have his own style and opinions aswell.
For once I actually agree with Steerpike. it is very important to be yourself and build on a particular style. Getting on TV was a milestone. You could try doing more things like that.
Even volunteering at hospitals, children's hospital's, nursing homes, restaurants, etc. Those are all good ways to spread your name.

Because I'm disgusted with this place. And frankly, I'm ready to leave. I went away for a week to focus on working on my new book, hoping that things in the community would look brighter on my return.
They haven't. If anything, the absence has given me the chance to see how miserable this place is. I got over my desensitized stupor, came back, and saw just how bad things have gotten. Doug puts up a thread about respect and what gets more replies? Liam Walsh repeatedly ringing his own bell, whining about Criss Angel, and talking about how great brown Wynns are.
And somehow I'm the bad guy for having a *******t detector.
