What are some hard hitting, impromptu effects from Paul Harris' Art Of Astonishment series and Roberto Giobbi's Card College series? Preferably card effects. A little setup is fine. I want to learn a few good impromptu material but I don't want to read through the whole thing just yet. Any ideas would be great. Thanks in advance.

The Knowledgeable Cards from Card College is a good one. I'm pretty sure it's called the knowledgeable cards...whatever it is, it's essentially Hofzinser's Aces.

A study for 4 aces is also pretty great - topped by John Bannon's routine in Dear Mr Fantasy, but still great in it's own right.

The Miracle Aces is pretty sweet. Perfect for my style.
But there are not much routines in CC, but a lot of quickie ones are.

I don't own AoA, but I do know some materials from it. I like Reset.

I, personally, am not a huge fan of card college, however Art of Astonishment is a phenomenal series. I know this is probably the last thing you want to hear but I'm going to say it anyways. You need to read through AoA to truly get an idea of how many great effects are held in the series.
