Yeah, there are books, although not very many. Probably the foremost and well known as well would be Jerry Cestkowski's The Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes.
it's a top packet retention cut.
But yes, Encyclopedia of Playing Card Flourishes is probably the most comprehensive book about cardistry.
