TITLE and Creator: Casino Royale with Cheese by Chris Mayhew
Effect: This is essentially a sandwich effect and a transpo effect. A card is selected (it can be signed) and lost into the deck. The magician then takes out the four kings, leaving the red ones on the table and placing a black king on the top and bottom of the deck. With a wave of his hand, the kings vanish and reappear in the center of the deck sandwiching one card. The card is revealed to be in fact the two red kings. In the place of the red kings on the table is now the signed selection.
Price: $6.95 over at The Blue Crown
Teaching: Chris goes over all of the sleights needed for this effect, none of which are too difficult. 9/10
Quality of materials(if it is a gimmik etc): No gimmicks or gaffs whatsoever. In fact, this an ungimmicked version of a Luke Dancy trick.
Difficulty: None of the moves are too difficult, this shouldn't take you that long to learn. The only difficult part is memorizing the sequence of sleights, but other than that this is pretty straightforward. 8.5/10
Applications: Great impromptu trick, can use a borrowed deck, uses a signed card. Its deff a trick I'd keep in my repertoire of impromptu card tricks.
Overall Rating: Overall I'd give this a solid 9/10 It's a great trick, pretty visual ending, and won't take you long to learn!
