Cold - The Telesthesia Cards
I bought this effect without having any prior knowledge as to what to expect. I read the description and it seemed like a neat effect but the youtube video is what made me decide to purchase it, besides that I also wanted to support another T11 Member.
Effect: The cards (can be) shuffled by the spectator and afterwards 5 cards are taken off the top of the deck. The spectator merely looks through the cards and is asked to remember one of those cards, the magician can turn away during this process so they don't see the cards. The card is simply held in their mind as the magician slowly and cleverly reveals their card.
Method: I had no idea what to expect but I love the method used for this effect. A few hours after reading the Ebook I had already began to use this effect and the reactions were remarkable. The method is well thought out, clever, smooth and the spectator wont question a thing.... expect your superhuman powers.
Ebook: There are no pictures in this ebook but that's perfectly fine because it's actually not needed. It's explained with excellent detail as well as covers a few different things that could happen during the effect.
Price: $14.99 seems like a reasonable price to me. The method used is something that you can use for many other tricks as well as use to develop your own. It's something I hadn't used before but knew about, so it was nice to have a explaination as to how it's done.
Overall: 9/10 - The trick is solid, hard hitting and easy to perform. I have performed it several times and it always seems to impress people. Though Dee is a stripper during the daytime don't let that discourage you from purchasing this effect, he knows what he's doing!
